Job Description:
The Marketing Manager manages the organisation's branding and marketing efforts, including the organisation's brand image, digital marketing communications and promotional campaigns. He/She uses market research for brand awareness, market trends, and target buyer and seller landscapes to improve product and service offerings. He/She also works with regional teams to compare geographical trends and share ideas.
He/She is analytical and creative. He/She uses data analytics to identify key market trends, and develops successful digital marketing programmes.
He/She networks to stay in close contact with the key industry stakeholders and constantly seeks new marketing opportunities.
In this role, you will be optimizing our marketing strategies, managing the marketing department's budget and staff, as well as preparing forecasts.
To ensure success, you will need extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads. An outstanding marketing manager will be someone whose expertise translates into increased brand awareness and profitability.
Design marketing campaign themes to promote new products and promotions.
Develop approaches to enhance marketing channel performance based on data analysis.
Develop brand guidelines according to overall brand image and best practices.
Develop branding plans that are in line with branding strategies.
Develop e-commerce plans to increase revenue and engagement.
Develop findings from industry landscape, digital marketing technologies and competitor products to plan marketing strategies.
Develop marketing communication plans and content marketing projects across digital platforms.
Develop marketing plans that are in line with marketing strategies.
Develop measures to improve future marketing campaigns based on identified areas of improvement.
Develop research methods to identify market awareness and brand associations.
Develop target profiles and personalised marketing based on data.
Develop targets to monitor performance based on marketing plans.
Develop various channels to drive engagement with target profiles and improve customer experience.
Manage actions with Corporate Communications to avoid external brand reputation risks.
Manage organisation's social media platforms and review alignment of other digital marketing channels with branding strategies.
Review brand consistency issues in collaterals across digital marketing platforms.
Review developed campaign collaterals to ensure they are in line with marketing campaign themes.
Support engagement sessions with vendors and creative agencies.
Support teamwork with business functions to identify new products and develop marketing campaigns.
Support the use of new digital marketing technologies for current marketing processes.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
Generating new business leads.
Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door
Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groupsS
Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals
Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or any other relevant field
Sound understanding of marketing fundamentals and tactics
Creative thinking and problem-solving ability
Leadership and project management skills
Knowledge of digital marketing and social media marketing strategies
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
Proficiency with marketing tools and software
Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
The ability to work under pressure.
Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
