Requirements

• Tertiary degree or diploma or equivalent industry qualifications;
• 3-5 years working experience in sales and marketing in the Life Insurance/Employee Benefits/Group Insurance;
• Possess M9, M5 & Health Insurance qualification;
• Strong knowledge of Life and Health insurance landscape
• Dynamic and driven to achieve business targets; and
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Business Development Director to lead the company’s growth initiatives and business expansion efforts. As a senior leader, the Business Development Director will collaborate closely with the executive team to shape the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Lead Business Growth Strategy:
  Drive the company’s business development strategy, focusing on new market opportunities, client acquisition, and expanding revenue channels. Align business development efforts with overall corporate goals.
• Executive Leadership:
  Provide strategic direction and leadership to the business development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance. Lead by example in client-facing activities and negotiations.
• Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
  Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers. Act as a trusted advisor and representative of the company in high-level discussions and negotiations.

• Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

• Sales Leadership:
  Drive the company’s sales efforts by overseeing the development of proposals, leading contract negotiations, and ensuring successful deal closures. Set and monitor sales targets for the business development team.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Team Development and Mentorship:

• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Qualifications:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is strongly preferred.
• Experience:
  10+ years of business development or sales experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in high-growth sectors such as technology, finance, or real estate is an advantage.
