Role Purpose
Work closely with current regional Snacks Business Unit organization across Commercial, R&D, Finance, Procurement, Plants across regions to conduct supply chain analysis to define and establish best supply chain solutions for Snacks Portfolio Expansion needs of the business. Succeed in portfolio expansion delivery to meet business metric criteria, launch timings and Supply Chain KPI’s. Establish and then migrate supply planning for the initiatives to ongoing base business execution.
Role responsibilities
a) Understand local/regional requirements to bring new product into the market.
b) Lead and contribute to the project as the supply chain representative to define, develop, and execute supply chain solutions and related activities.
c) Run supply chain network design analysis to define options and establish best supply network solutions. Work closely with commercial and technical functions throughout the project stage gate process to define and bring the supply chain solutions to life to meet the market launch and ongoing business objectives for the NPD, portfolio expansion, New site and Co-Man integration and CI projects.
d) Deploy existing demand/supply planning system and drive E2E supply planning via system right from stage gate process following the lead-time requirements.
e) Accountable for integrating new business in SAP and SC readiness both within and across regions.
a) Build and maintains strong working relationship with local teams and external partners, e.g. Suppliers, 3PL, contract manufactures, etc.
b) Review per market demand, supply & production capacity to identify potential constrained/excess capacity and manage demand/supply constraint working together with Supply Planning team for NPD investments and assets.
c) Provide holistic view as supply chain representative on the SC complexity, solutions and cost impacts to be included as part of Project P&L for decision making by LT’s.
d) Run Analysis for Make or Buy decision for new investment projects and provide SC recommendation working along with Plant, LPM and Finance teams.
e) Being proactive and review Supply Chain Network readiness time to time and come with risk mitigation plans and solutions to protect launches.
f) Support commercial & external customers on any inventory/operations related matters.
g) Work with plant planning team on NPI launch and minimize write off’s arising due to project dynamics and lead times.
