What role will you play?

You will use your keen business development mindset to identify niches to establish across the Southeast Asia region and India, and structuring skills to navigate and combine traditional bank financing and physical ownership structures to leverage Macquarie’s physical and financial commodity platform. In this role you will utilise your subject matter expertise in structured funding products and familiarity with the varieties of commodity financing structures, project finance and experience with physical commodity conventions to grow our presence in the region.

What you offer

· 10+ years experience in a commodity finance/structured funding products role (bank, corporate or trade house), across commodities (energy, metals and agriculture)

· Good understanding of accounting and balance sheet implications of structures and experience designing clients pitches

Responsibilities
- Actively involved in delivery and implementation of strategic initiatives and BAU enhancements of digital platforms requested by the business partners
- Conduct a thorough analysis of end-to-end business process, systems and data related to operations
- Drive requirement workshops to gather requirements, identify business needs, define project/enhancement scope
- Ensure business requirements are comprehensive and they meet business needs in taking consideration of future and changing business needs

Requirements

- Ensuring smooth onboarding process of new agents from due diligence, reference checks to eventual onboarding of new agents

- Participate in the management of ILP funds which includes preparation of fund documents for regulatory filing, process related implementation

What role will you play?

Working in a fast-paced and close-knit team environment, you will provide crucial support to the Legal and Governance team on preparing and processing corporate regulatory filings, maintaining corporate databases and updating internal registers and corporate records. This includes director appointments and board changes, coordinating execution of documents, notarization or apostillization, board approvals, agendas and board papers.

You will also support the business directly by providing key company information in response to KYC, Due Diligence and auditor requests. In addition, you will be responsible for extensive inbox and diary management, internal and external meeting arrangement, domestic and international travel management, as well as regularly interacting and supporting other assistants to coordinate conference calls with international offices and across different time zones.

What you offer

· 5+ years’ experience gained from providing executive assistant support within the professional services industry (finance, consulting or legal)
