Position Overview

Essential Job Functions

Trade Repository (TR) Reporting

1. Validate on the daily TR reports being House and or Client Delegation.

2. Investigate on any discrepancies and investigation on root cause

3. Monitor the report acknowledgement and investigate for any rejected trades.

4. Review the successfully submitted report in DTCC-GTR and EOD completeness

5. Engage on the build of TR Reporting (new, revise, update)

6. Keep abreast of regulatory updates

7. Support NPA (New Product Agreement) & Lite (inclusive of PIR), review all NPAs related to TR, raise any deviations for execution, monitor till launch & signoffs

8. Support on Delegate Reporting of CFTC end to end from issuing of SLA to tagging of system and reporting obligation

Job Description

The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. Responsibilities:

• A production support analyst or engineer is responsible for monitoring the production environments, servers, scheduled jobs, incident management and receiving incidents and requests from end-users.
• Analyzing these and either responding to the end user with a solution or escalating it to other IT teams.

Skills/Requirement:

• Good working experience with Java Production support and Unix Shell scripting with Basic SQL understanding.
• Experience in Production Support.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Experience working with Jira.
• Ability to interact with operations, developers and managers seamlessly, get on to recovery calls with the concerned stakeholders and provide workarounds to blocking issues seamlessly with a quick turnaround time. Should also be able to (work with other teams to) put permanent fixes in place for such issues in the upcoming release.
• Good to have exposure into Devops Tools.

Objective of This Position

Integrated in Regional IS team, the candidate will be responsible for supporting existing BI applications and dataflow. Working closely with business teams to resolve day-to-day issues and perform regular maintenance to data pipelines to ensure smooth operation.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in both Anaplan, Google Cloud and Power BI
• Data warehousing concepts, data integration, and other BI tools is preferred.
• Business acumen, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also essential.

Anaplan Support and Development (40%):

• Providing support for global Anaplan model implementations across various business functions (finance, supply chain, etc.). addressing their questions, troubleshooting issues, and escalating complex problems to Anaplan support or internal development teams as needed.
• Understand the intricacies of Anaplan models and how they are used within the organization.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements for new Anaplan models or enhancements to existing ones.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of integrations between Anaplan and other systems, especially focusing on data flows from Google Cloud Pipelines.
• Assist in data validation and reconciliation processes between Anaplan and source systems.

Google Cloud Pipelines Maintenance (40%):

• Maintain data pipelines within Google Cloud Platform services including Cloud Composer (Airflow), and Cloud Functions.
• Implement data validation and quality checks within the pipelines to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery to Anaplan.
• Optimize pipeline performance for cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for the pipelines to proactively identify and address potential issues.

Power BI Development and Reporting (20%):

• Building reports and dashboards in Power BI based on business requirements.
• Designing and developing data models in Power BI.
• Utilizing Power BI desktop to create dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports.
• Connecting to various data sources, transforming data, and integrating data for business intelligence purposes.
• Ensuring data accuracy and reliability in Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Implementing row-level security on data and understanding Power BI's application security layer models.
• Leveraging the Anaplan Connector for Power BI to seamlessly integrate data.
• Creating insightful visualizations and reports using Anaplan data within Power BI
• Combining Anaplan data with other enterprise data sources within Power BI.
