JOB DISCRIPTION

As a Food Distribution Market Researcher, your main task is to gather and analyze data about the food distribution industry. You'll study market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities to help our company make informed decisions and stay competitive.

Responsibilities:

• Lead host and first point of contact in Catalyste showroom.

To Succeed in this Role

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing and other transactions
• Review financial data and prepare monthly MIS & annual reports at Sub-group level.
• Prepare full sets of books of account
• Managing flow of cash, banking
• Preparing & Reviewing monthly Balance Sheet Schedule after timely closing of books of account
• Handle intercompany transaction and reconciliation
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures
• Responsible for monthly compliance such as GST, payroll taxes, etc.
• Liaise with auditors to facilitate and ensure timely completion of audit
• Liaise with company secretaries and tax consultants to ensure statutory compliance
• Perform other projects as assigned by the Management

The Requirements:

• Graduated/about to graduate in Business, Accountancy, or a related field
• Prior work experience with finance or accounts is a plus
• Competent in handling of MS Office applications
• Proficient user of finance software (XERO)
• Commitment, ability to work independently, motivated and accurate
• Receptive to feedback and eager to learn

About the role:

• To assist in the drafting of customer agreements for the Group promptly.
• To conduct searches, collate and verify relevant documents from various parties, and ensure completeness of documentation before drafting agreements
• To maintain proper filing of contracts and safekeeping of original agreements at all times.
• To assist and support in providing contract-related information to various parties as and when requested.
• Preparation of documents to respective finance personnel for accounting purposes.
• Scanning and uploading the full contracts with all attachments onto ERP Systems
• Create of new customer code.
• To furnish a final reminder, initial and commence a legal proceeding as according to the Group protocol.
• To monitor and follow up on legal cases until the cases have closed or concluded.
• To liaise with lawyers on legal matters
• Arrange to meet up with customers together with Sales personnel to negotiate repayment plans
• To update respective Finance/Commercial/Credit Control personnel on the account status on legal-related matters.
