Role Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Efficiency and Performance Measurement
· Responsible for monthly Business efficiency tracking & reporting to CCIB COO. Ensuring discipline and due process for timely delivery against performance targets through effective & regular engagement with business COO’s.
· Provide regular accurate updates to CCIB COO MT on business and productivity performance; ensure that issues are escalated in a timely fashion, with clear actions with timelines and ownership to remedy such escalations are agreed and close accordingly.
· Drive Cost transparency initiative to align cost and insights between financial reporting and Client Journey / Product pillars
· Coordinate the budget forecasting and planning cycle’s in line with timeline as defined by Group Finance & our business partners
· Co-ordinate timely review of cost performance and delivery of saves against Corporate Plan
· Monitor real time insights for efficiency, distribution, stress indicators, productivity, utilisation and capacity.
Business Initiatives and Implementation
· Act as a conduit between all key stakeholders to ensure that our strategic agenda is delivered effectively despite potentially conflicting agendas & priorities of our stakeholders.
· Effectively communicate strategic agenda, and progress through regular face to face engagement & timely communication (e.g. via email, steering committees, business forums & project updates)
· Drive delivery of Business MI, Aligning MI to key scorecard metrics,S25 metrics, clients outcomes, big blocks requirements across CCIB
· Assisting with management reviews, performance updates for various forums and stakeholders represented by COO CCIB & EA
· Supporting discussions and decision-making at various forums / committees attended by COO CCIB & EA
· Support in identifying, designing & implementation of continuous improvement opportunities – constant adaptation to clients’ changing needs; focus on efficiency and productivity; and ongoing investments in our core capabilities where appropriate.
· Track, follow up and manage the team activities to a successful delivery including support on the management of actions from “Operation MT” (OMT) Track business initiatives / projects on behalf of the Line Manager
· Provide inputs to the development of end-to-end scalable infrastructure and processes to execute business processes.
· Gather reports, presentations, papers, and review material to support discussions and decision making at various forums, mainly for Group MT, PGC’s, OMT, Board Risk Committees (BRC), Group Risk Committee (GRC),
· Group Financial Crime Risk Committee (GFCRC), etc. This will involve consolidating and integrating material from various sources and ensuring the final output is fit for purpose and aligned with the requirements
· Coordinate and support business engagements or ad-hoc requirements with other teams / partners in the Bank and external parties (i.e. consultants, vendors, auditors, regulators, clients, media/publications, etc).
· Responsible for communications and internal marketing of events, highlights, key success metrics, deals, pipelines and other significant events.
· Building strong, influential & trusted stakeholder relationships at all levels; with focus on senior group level stakeholders across CCIB and functions
Regulatory & Business Conduct
· Create a climate where risk issues are surfaced without fear and resolved as part of our culture.
· Balance business performance delivery and cost management constraints with risk and control matters to ensure that they do not materially threaten the group’s ability to remain within risk appetite.

Our Ideal Candidate
· 12+ years of experience in Technology and Banking domain
· Possess good Business Acumen, sound understanding of Financial and Cost Management
· Sound knowledge in change management and process improvement methodologies, drive execution
· Good understanding of Business Analysis, Business Management and Business consulting, etc.
· Adept in managing risk, people and processes
· Effective c-suite stakeholders engagement
· Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
