SENIOR SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Business Development (BD) team, including preparation to bid proposal materials and tender submittals.
• Execute administrative work for the department including facilitate internal meetings, maintain external business registrations and schedules.
• Assist to design / update marketing materials such as company profiles, brochures and application notes, and presentation ppt slides.
• Maintain and optimize the company website and social media platforms (Linkedin etc)
• Upkeep and custodian documentation, including workflow, templates, track records etc.
• Handle customer inquiries, and forward to relevant BD manager(s).
• Assist to update and generate monthly reports for Sales and marketing performance.
• Administrative liaising with external insurance brokers & end-customers for fulfilling required insurance/bonds requirement for both secured project contracts and own company’s insurance coverage needs.
• Administration works to maintain the partnership with external technology or solution partners (such as arrange for product trainings & certification courses required for partnership, participation to their events etc).
• Maintain strong and clear communications with respective stakeholders.
• Support workshops, seminars, trade shows, and exhibitions.
• Any other duties assigned by the Head of Business Development.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
• Knowledge of tender process and quantity surveying.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software.
• Knowledge to Contracts Management is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Review and assess security trade control transactions and product shifting applications for any related impact.

2. Classification of product based on export control policies.

3. Collaborating with HQ to ensure updated information on policies and whereabouts of equipment's are updated into the Company's database.

4. Ensuring that the Trade Control department operations are in accordance with government laws & regulations as well as the global control policy for Mitutoyo.

5. Managing and ensuring appropriate record keeping of documents relating to the Trade Control department and its related operations.

6. Perform screening of end-users of the Company’s product before shipment or quotation.

7. Provide on-site audit support towards the group global auditing activities.

8. Provide training support on the importance of compliance in exports to the Group and custom related matters.

9. Provide legal support in terms of Company database of contracts.

10. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies

· Candidates with experience in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering/Metrology Equipment industry would be preferred.

· Candidates with experience in either Product Classification, Customs Regulations and Singapore Strategic Goods Control Act would be advantageous.

· At least 2-4 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

· Diploma/Degree in relevant course of study.

· Team player with strong interpersonal skills and is resourceful.
