• Work with the faculty in designing, planning and the continuous development of the laboratory facilities designated for teaching and research activities in the area. Provide training to students on safe and proper usage of laboratory equipment.
• Carry out Risk Assessment, and ensure compliance with Work, Safety and Health Regulations.
• Coordinate procurement and liaison with vendors/suppliers.
• Work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• For those hired at senior levels, management responsibilities and additional administrative roles may be included.

The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:

• Possess clinical experience and competence in physiotherapy. Having expertise in community rehabilitation or other area of specialization (e.g. cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, neurological physiotherapy, geriatric rehabilitation) is preferred.
• Have at least 10 - 15 years of work experience in the acute/ community/ other clinical rehabilitation setting.
• Have a degree from a recognised University in Physiotherapy. Possessing a Master’s or PhD degree will be advantageous.
• AHPC Certified
• Knowledge and experience in working with simulated healthcare institution and community environment and educational manikins will be advantageous.
