Job Responsibilities:
· To manage and coordinate HSE team, including coordinators, supervisors etc, under parent company and its subsidiaries
· Supports management in establishing and continuously improving HSE culture within the worksites
· Follow up with MOM requirements for annual or bi-annual inspections required for equipment on site, e.g., Pressure Vessels, Vehicles.
· Follow up with safety equipment inspection or recertification e.g. Safety Harness, Gas detectors
· In charge of coordination for ISO audits and following up with recommendations, where necessary.
· To ensure that the relevant HSE documentation is updated and available on the sites, including Risk Assessment and Method Statement documentation.
· To support management in investigations of failures and accidents, and reporting to MOM where necessary.
· Maintain HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) on site to be in compliance with regulatory requirements
· To assist in:
- Implementing the HSE Management System.
- Monitoring HSE objectives.
- Liaising with authorities regarding HSE where necessary.
- Assessing the local risks.
- Generating and updating local HSE procedures, work instructions and checklists as required.
- Implementing and monitoring HSE plans and ensuring measures in place are reasonably practicable.
- Monitoring compliance to policies, standards and procedures and recommending corrective actions as needed.
· Plan and assist in external and self-audits, and recommending short term and long-term improvements where necessary.
· To keep abreast of any new documentation or training material related to HSE needed and to inform management accordingly.
· To develop and maintain a high level of awareness among all personnel through communications, training, and promoting active involvement of employees in HSE.
· To coordinate and actively participate in the screening and HSE training of all personnel, including contractors and sub-contractors.
Jobs Requirements:
· Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM is a must.
· Degree or diploma in Engineering, Management, or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years working experience as a HSE officer
· Experience with ISO45001 and ISO14001 is preferred
· Certified Working-At-Height assessor is preferred
· Experience in Manufacturing / Oil & Gas Environment is preferred.
