My client is looking to hire a Personal Assistant on a temp contract of about 7 months (from mid Sep 2024 to Mar 2025) as maternity cover.

Responsibilities

• Primary administrative support to a group of professors.
• Secondary administrative support, covering for other PAs during their leave (if needed).
• Managing and coordinating calendars, scheduling meetings, and arranging appointments.
• Preparing and editing correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents (if needed).
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls.
• Organizing and maintaining files, records, and databases.
• Coordinating travel arrangements and itineraries.
• Assisting with event planning and execution.
• Ensuring confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Performing other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Administrative Assistant.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Discretion and confidentiality.
• Familiarity with academic or higher education environments is a plus.
