Commercial Responsibilies

• Keeps himself/herself well informed about the operations especially in key departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Banqueting etc.)

• Closely observes matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis – quarterly or more often if need to be).

Coordinator Responsibilities

• To pay visits to potential accounts in view of entering contracts with them, especially commercial accounts.
• Defines precisely guest requirements and ensures that the guest services offered corresponds effectively to their requests.
• Provides after-sales service and in particular to ensure all guests complaints are taken seriously and discussed with the respective departments if necessary.
• Receives in the hotel any important guests whom he has approached.
• To issue and confirm proposals in writing as a record.

About Us

We are a local architectural repair consultancy practice. Beside repair consultancy, we also manage projects like A&A, repainting and reroofing works.

Why recruiting

Due to the expansion of our project management department, we are looking for candidate to strengthen our team.

Environment

We are managing works with duration between 6 to 12 months. It is a fast-track environment with many stakeholders and sometimes conflicting interest to manage. As our contracts are short duration and overlap, the candidate is expected to manage a few sites at the same time.

The Work

1. Managing multiple repair, repainting and re-roofing projects
2. Conduct of tender exercise and site showround
3. Calling of quote for Contractors
4. Compilation and documentation
5. Attend to meeting and tender interview

The Office

The work is mainly office based with occasional visit to site (condominium mostly and occasionally office and factory) to verify and check on site work and contractor’s claim.

The Team

You will work in a team with quality surveyor, customer service officer and project director. We are also work closely with contractors who formed the “external” team.

The Hours

We work from Mon to Fri (9 am to 6 pm) with the occasional site visit on Saturday (half day). There are some night meetings to attend to, usually between 7-10 pm. The meetings are mostly through remote and can be done from home. Occasionally our physical presence is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in the project kickoff meeting post contract award and organize a briefing on project scope with management and contractors.
• Coordinate renovation, reinstatement, and other site works (for retail shops and departmental counters) and manage coordination and communication with all relevant parties.
• Solicit quotations for each contract or task to facilitate comparison.
• Assist directors in ensuring projects are completed within stipulated timelines, budgetary constraints, meet safety standards, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Aid directors in the preparation and submission of shop drawings.
• Proactively address site issues in a timely manner and seek guidance from directors when necessary.
• Perform risk assessments and engage in other risk management activities.
• Compile and maintain all essential project documentation, including Pre-con Survey Reports, PTW submissions, Project Schedules, Weekly Site Progress Reports, Procurement and Drawings Tracking Lists, Handover Reports, Defect Registers, Certificates of Completion, etc.
• Oversee daily processes and progress at the project site.
• Conduct regular project site inspections.
• Work closely with and manage own workers, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to workmanship standards as per statutory and client requirements.
• Manage all site works, including cost control, contract administration, and project progress management to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations..

Job Requirements:

• Experience to co-ordinate and support in handling the progress carpentry project works.
• Able to read ID drawings, furniture detailing
• PC literate – proficient in MS office.
• Ad-hoc travel able.
