Working Hours:

• Mondays to Tuesdays & Thursdays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain the general cleanliness of equipment and the workplace
• Provide logistical support for school events and activities, including carrying and arranging furniture and equipment

Job Description

1. Report to the Ship Repair Manager on all task and projects assigned to him.
2. Coordinate and oversee ship repair projects assigned from start to completion and ensure the efficient allocation of resources and completion of tasks within planned time frame.
3. Carry out Risk assessment on all repair jobs and mitigate all risk to ensure safe working environment
4. Collaborate with various team to develop detailed repair plans, including work scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
5. Identify bottleneck and make contingency plan to alleviate any delay
6. Record all work done for the project and advise Ship Repair Manager of all works carried out including those additional and variation works.
7. Develop positive working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
8. Complement Ship Repair Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for clients during ship repair projects, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or inquiries
9. Coordinate with client, procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of necessary materials and equipment for repair tasks
10. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce
11. Conduct daily VSCC and production meeting for ongoing repair projects
12. Any other duties as assigned by the Ship Repair Manager from time to time

Job Requirement

1. Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture or Ship Science, or Equivalent;
2. Experience in ship repair management, preferably in a shipyard or maritime environment
3. Strong project management skills with proven track record of successfully executing ship repair projects on time and within budget
4. Good understanding of budgeting and reporting
5. Solid understanding of safety regulations, quality standards, and best practices in ship repair
6. Proficient in MS Office
7. Proficient in using shipyard-specific software and project management tools
8. Experience in directing and evaluating subordinates

• Must ready to work physically to carry provisionals, groceries and vegetables from whole sale vendor delivery to store room , then shift from Store room to display rack to avail customers
• Loading and unloading of provisionals, groceries and vegetable
• Help customers to find locate provisionals, groceries and vegetable, if need bring the stuff and put it their trolley
• Ensure shelves and product displays remain stocked.
• Replenish products onto display shelfs and areas as assigned.
• Check & account for damaged stocks, Tabulate balance stocks & Tidy up items displays

Responsible to Operations Assistant

· Report to duty punctually wearing the correct uniform, clean and well pressed including appropriate shoes (polished) and nametag at all times according to the hotels dress code & Kempinski grooming standards, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

· A courteous, professional and efficient service is provided at all times.

· All duties and tasks are performed as per the tasks required at the outlet.

· Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel.

· Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all food and beverage items offered by the department assigned.

· Have the knowledge and understanding to explain and perform upselling all items offered by the department assigned as well as offering alternatives.

· Monitor operating supplies, equipment and reduce spoilage and wastage successfully.

· Ensure that the place of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized at all times.

· Successfully perform opening and closing procedures established for the assigned outlet.

· Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints and feedback to supervisors.

· Report guest complaints immediately to the supervisors and ensuring follow up is performed with the guest.

· Being knowledgeable to operate the existing POS system based on the trained responsibility level as assigned in the department.

· Understand and strictly adhere to the rules & regulations established in the hotel’s policy manual and the hotel’s policy on fire, hygiene, health & safety.

· Maintain a good rapport and work relation with staff in the assigned department and within the hotel.

· Attend and contribute to all staff meetings, departmental trainings and hotel initiated trainings scheduled.

· Undertake reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Department Head.

· Respond to any changes in the department as dictated by the hotel management.

· Assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.

· Perform any other assigned reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Candidates will familiarised with the building services systems in the construction industries.including submission to various authorities eg. SCDF, BCA, SP Power gird etc

Candidates will require to familiar with projects and attend design and site meetings

Candidates will require to familiar with architectural drawings and to design/advise draught person to insert all necessary building services into the drawing.

Candidate with knowledge of the autocad software is preferable.
