The Opportunity
The role of Product Sales Specialist is an integral part of the team. It’s the representative to our customers in both the clinic as well as the hospital settings throughout Singapore.
You will work both independently and within the Singapore team, to diligently plan, organize and carry out activities that will assist the company to meet targets and meet our high expectations for quality customer service. This is a somewhat autonomous role, where you need to be comfortable with making front line decisions and putting forward recommendations to improve process efficiencies to ensure the highest quality of service resulting in the achievement of the monthly sales targets.
Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, this role is a permanent role where hours are standard business hours, on site in our Singapore Office.
Key responsibilities
- Assess customers’ needs and position our product/ offering accordingly
- Achieve allocated monthly sales target
- Present product information and demonstrate how the product works
- Communicate and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe CardioScan services utilizing effective selling skills
- Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
- Keep detailed records of all local customer contacts
- Manage account information and buying trends
- Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
- Plan work schedules with weekly and monthly timetables for the assigned territory
- Prepare and submit weekly updates and monthly sales reports
About you
- Minimum 1-2 years experience as a medical sales representative/cabin crew or similar role
- Diploma/ Degree or equivalent
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and cope with company expansion plans
- Be a self-motivated, pleasant individual with a strong customer service focus
- Attitude is everything - you must be a team player with the ability to work cohesively with others
- Have decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong communicator, upholds our core values and exhibits expected behaviours
- Able to effectively work autonomously
- Have a hands-on approach, to get the job done.
- Strong computer skills (Monday.com, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office365)
- Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Strong negotiation and selling sales skills
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
