The Job

· Ensure coverage of relevant regulatory requirements and recommend improvements to corporate policies, procedures and practices;

· Lead or participate in the planning for each audit assignment to ensure performance of audit assignments, quality of reports and timeliness of deliverables;

· Develop audit plans and programs. Ensure that these documents are up-to-date and suitable to the current operating environment of the auditee;

· Ensure timely reporting of findings, risks and recommendations for auditee’s response and finalisation of report to AC (Audit Committee);

• Lead and support all Guest Experience initiatives at the property.
• Support the Department Head in driving a guest centric culture in the hotel and create awareness and understanding among all associates on the importance of Guest Experience.
• Review TrustYou performance and guest feedback daily, identifying trends and areas for improvement on a regular basis and share with relevant stakeholders (at a minimum once a week).
• Set TrustYou goals and regularly compare and communicate variances.
• Represent Guest Experience and be the voice of the guest daily at the morning briefing with updates and highlights of points for improvement and guest praise.
• Investigate root causes of repetitive trending issues and recommend and support implementation of resolutions.
• Lead and develop a team of departmental Guest Experience Champions within the hotel to conduct deep dives/self-assessments and identify improvement opportunities and solutions.
• Review and communicate the company operational standards and all new brand/quality initiatives effectively to all stakeholders.
• Conduct a weekly Guest Experience meeting with individual HOD’s, communicating performance, supporting, and driving management action plan efforts.
• Conduct regular property self-assessments on the operational brand standards and other quality programs.
• Introduce and coordinate monthly mystery shopper audits and conduct HOD and departmental debriefings.
• Conduct Guest Experience Management overview induction for new hires and thorough induction on Guest Experience for all new hires within the first month of employment.
• Conduct Guest Experience assurance audit
• Work in partnership with all relevant external partners to ensure external training is conducted where applicable, e.g. Stayplease, TrustYou, TripAdvisor etc
• Work closely with HOD’s to assess service standards and delivery on a consistent basis.
• Participate in and check the annual revision of operational brand standards and SOP’s with operational HOD’s and Exco.
• Participate and support implementation of new Guest Experience product enhancement programs, e.g. guest amenities, children, brand activities, guest preferences, Guest of the Day, etc.
• Directly liaise with and contact guests to collect direct feedback and facilitate new ways of collecting greater in-house feedback.
• Ensure the relevant teams and stakeholders respond to all guest feedback and timely.
• Champion the internal communication of Guest Experience related matters and updates to all associates in the hotel, including presenting at associate quarterly town halls.
• Improve communication regarding guest service e.g. daily VIP photos and bios, pre-arrival and post-departure correspondence, daily summary feedback with pro and con sentiments, etc.
• Introduce and drive with colleague guest service appreciation programs.
• Introduce departmental colleague guest service orientated monthly competitions.
• Analyse, recommend and implement improvement initiatives and innovation.
• Lead Sustainability project to obtain Global Sustainability Tourism Council certification and manage year on year audits.
• Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned by the Management.

Main duties and responsibilities:

To support the local team in all QEHS related compliance and performance of TES Singapore sites, which includes but not limited to emergency response (drills and TTX), incident investigation and IH monitoring, etc. Also, includes all Environmental related matters and regulatory reporting, global QEHS procedures & programs and overall lead for all QEHSMS / R2 audits, 3rd party certifications and customer audits as well as supporting Group EHS.

Environment:

• Reporting of QEHS performance metric reporting and activities to Global/ Group EHS Manager.
• Provide guidance on QEHS best practice principles, techniques and culture in Singapore sites.
• Compilation and submission of annual recycling data and other relating environment related info to relevant competent authorities.
• Maintain Basel Permit / Import Approval of all sites, including applications and tracking of movement documents.

Audit:

• Ensure Singapore sites are aware of and complying with Corporate/ Group QEHS policies, standards and programs, and local legislations.
• Program lead for 3rd party (ie. QEHSMS & R2) audits and key customer accounts on QEHS audits, provide resource and preparing Singapore sites with upcoming audits, tracking & reporting of audit results and monitor closure of corrective actions.
• Develop and conduct Singapore sites QEHS Audit program to ensure compliance to EHS regulations and Global EHS standards. Track & report audit results and monitor closure of corrective actions.
• Analyse data from EHS audits (including 3rd party QEHSMS & R2 certification audits and key account QEHS audits) to identify trends and provide feedback and preventative measures.

Other support:

• Support the development & implementation of One TES IMS – global QEHS procedures and programs.
• Monthly tabulation and submission of Basel permits status reporting for Exco meeting.
• Provide coordination and administrative support to QEHSMS & R2 certification program in Singapore.
• Support global initiative programs / activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in any Engineering discipline and registered WSHO and FSM.
• Good to have: Qualified industrial first aider, noise monitoring office or any other IH related experience.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin and good report writing skills, familiar with Microsoft office.
• Trained in/ familiar with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and Responsible Recycling (R2) or equivalent.
• Experience with handling government agencies and knowledge in license and permit application from agencies such as NEA, MOM, SCDF, PUB and SPF.
• 5-8 years of working experience as in WSH related fields or equivalent in manufacturing / electronic or chemical industries.
• Experience in conducting ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 45001/ R2 audits or handling OSH related audits.
• Good communication skills, team player, responsible, take initiatives and work independently without much supervision.

Good to have:

• Registered WSHO & FSM.
• Proficient in English, Mandarin and good report writing skills, familiar with Microsoft office with auditing experience in ISO 14001, ISO 45001 or ISO 9001.
• At least 5-8 years of working experiences as in WSH related fields or equivalent in manufacturing/ electronic or chemical industries.
• Good leadership skills to be able to guide and lead a team of EHS professionals.

Responsibilities

· Assist in TOP Quality Management System to ensure quality control

· Prepare QA/QC Plans, formulate QC checklists, inspection and procedures

Requirements

· Minimum with 10 years’ experience in trackwork/MRT/Civil projects
