• Position: Quantity Surveyor Executive

• Working hours: Monday to Thursday (9am - 6.30pm), Friday (9am-6pm)

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct quantity take off, price, forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities
• Prepare forecast for monthly subcontractors payments
• Liaise with the client and data entry of project expenses into system
• Document progress claims, materials, and reports on project
• Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
• At least Diploma holder and 3 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience in the Interior Design industry preferred

Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents to understand project details and requirements.
• Reviewing and interpreting engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, and scope of works to fully understand the project requirements for detailed and accurate estimating.
• Providing detailed and accurate quantity take-offs as per the technical drawings, specifications, and scope of work, and ensuring the completeness and timely submission of tender bids.
• Preparation of quotations and liaising with my QS Executive about the pricing, value engineering, and analysis project budgeting.
• Providing timely clarifications for ongoing submission within the tender duration and tracking the design changes of tender drawings.
• To develop and propose documents in response to RFP, and RFQ, study.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in the construction sector.
• Strong negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail, positive work attitude, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Committed, independent, and a team player.

· Measuring and taking off quantities, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers

· Provide estimates and evaluate costing to achieve competitive costing for tender submission

· Estimate, develop & manage construction schedule, method of statement, temporary plan

· Able to Source and Liaise with Site Personnel, Suppliers, Sub-contractors, Consultants and/or Architects for all project-related matters.

· Able to ensure timely finalisation of main contracts and sub-contracts.

· Any other duties that deem required to complete the works

Job Requirements:

· Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.

· 3 years and above experience as QS in Singapore.

· Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders

· Competent in software skills MS Office and AutoCAD.

· Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines

· Able to start work immediately is an advantage
