The department is Asset Management. This department is primarily responsible for the management of the operational PBSA properties in Australia, the focus of the department is centred on 4 main objectives, providing our residents an unforgettable journey in our property, budget management, operator management and lastly improving and preserving the value of the property.

Designation and Reporting

The department you will be in is the Asset Management department which is currently split into 2 teams by geographies. Your designation is Associate, Asset Management, and you will report directly to the team head. You will be based in Singapore but are expected to travel to Australia regularly and whenever required. You will be required to work closely with all other departments within the Company as well as our PBSA operator(s) in Australia.

•Responsible for induction training and on the job training of new employees and also newly promoted staff

•Understand the need for training and development of employees and to take a proactive approach in training employees especially mandatory training like Basic Food Hygiene and Safety

Job Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Communications

• Create, enhance and maintain a strong and positive overall corporate image for the organisation
• Manage both internal and external communications platforms of the organisation, including Intranet, newsletters, marketing collaters, MediaWatch etc
• Responsible for regularly updating corporate information in all marketing assets, which includes ppt deck, boiler plate, factsheet, corporate/programme videos, and profile write ups on all print and digital platforms (website, social channels, partner sites etc)

2. Media Engagement

• Cultivate media, manage media events, facilitate media interviews and monitor media coverage and undertake necessary follow-up actions
• Establish a media monitoring plan on sectors important to PPIS including but not limited to women, family and children services

3. Marketing Communications

• Execute an effective marketing and communications plan for both internal and external audiences, in line with PPIS’ strategic goals
• Align media communications initiatives with marketing strategies and campaigns/activities for key projects
• Assist in planning and executing of marketing communications activities
• Any other internal and external communications matters on behalf of PPIS

Qualifications and Requirements

• Candidate must have a recognised degree in in related fields
• Candidate must have at least 3-5 years of experience in the media or PR industry, with a focus on PR/corporate and/or marketing communications,
• Good written, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational skills and project management capabilities.

Our client is looking for a seasoned Assistant Finance Manager (Group) to manage financial and management accounting processes, including overseeing month-end closing activities for local entities and conducting monthly group consolidation. This role will be reporting to the CFO.

Responsibilities

• Handle financial and management accounting, overseeing the month-end closure of local entities and the monthly consolidation process.
• Perform and analyze the monthly financial review for the Group.
• Review accounts of subsidiaries located overseas.
• Prepare financial reports for both the holding and ultimate holding company.
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies and implement them as required.
• Manage the annual business budget.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents for year-end audits and tax matters.
• Serve as the system administrator for online banking activities.
