Treasury Markets (TM) balances the supply & demand of Liquidity & Capital to create sustainable value. Treasury Markets is the first line of defence responsible for managing the short-term liquidity position of the Bank.

Treasury Markets’ mandates are:

· Optimise Group ROTE through RORWA

· Manage liquidity

· Manage interest rate risk

Treasury Markets Global Liquidity Management (TMLM) initiates and supports formulation and delivery of the group’s liquidity management mandate.

Business

· Manage the Bank’s liquidity agenda, balancing long-term liquidity planning with day-to-day management

· Manage the Group’s adherence to liquidity demands as set by the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA), and any internal requirements (in line with Board Risk Appetite)

· Generate liquidity through approved products

· Drive liquidity management best practice across Group/Solo and the regions

· Educate stakeholders across Treasury and the Businesses on both the changing liquidity regulatory landscape and on the general liquidity conditions of the bank, working across boundaries to ensure that information and ideas flow freely, and collaborating with key stakeholders on liquidity initiatives wherever possible

· Bring clarity to complex information, either by directly creating Management Information (MI), or influencing the development of such MI by championing and cultivating practical creativity across Treasury.

We are looking for an individual whose digital media experience has given him or her a keen understanding of real-time bidding, a mastery of the full programmatic supply chain, and a network of advertiser and brand direct relationships.

Working out of the Singapore office, the Director of Ad Solutions, Brand Direct will be tasked with engaging contacts at major Advertisers and Brands, challenging their current assumptions, selling in new partnership ideas and increasing investment opportunities on PubMatic. This is a highly visible and strategically important role for PubMatic in APAC. We are looking for an individual whose experience has given him or her a keen understanding of changing advertiser behaviour and how that affects media buying strategies. Successfully doing so requires a strategic, collaborative thinker who can bring in other PubMatic executives across the APAC markets and subject-matter experts as needed.

Areas of focus will include strategy definition, assisting local in-market teams to close large advertiser partnerships, provide deep internal expertise as a subject matter expert on advertiser trends and external evangelization at key events. The role reports into the VP Ad Solutions, APAC.

The relevant person enjoys networking at industry functions, staying current on the latest programmatic trends, and proactively seeking out knowledge specific to the inner-workings of PubMatic’s technology. The role requires the person to have a strong sales mindset, an ability to think creatively and collaborate with others in executing long-term, complex deals.

The ideal candidate has experience at a Brand, Agency, AdTech platform, DSP or SSP and deep relationships within the industry

Responsibilities:

•This position will require frequent and meaningful interaction across peers in other offices/ functions and PubMatic’s leadership team. To be a leader in this environment will require the ability to quickly connect the dots between all functions and possess a deep understanding of PubMatic’s technology, service offerings, and capabilities.

•Work with the APAC leadership team to formulate brand direct strategy, define opportunity and achieve business goals

•Understand regional market needs with a focus on Australia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore & Japan

•Position PubMatic as the preferred supply source amongst the key advertisers and brands by developing a deep understanding of their buying requirements and priorities to ensure we meet their needs

•Collaborate with the marketing team to evangelize PubMatic’s offering through appearances at industry events and crafting thought leadership pieces for the trade press

•Contribute to and execute the global sales strategy across advertisers and brands

•Instal a culture of collaboration and accountability

•Facilitating in the roll-out of global SPO deals in APAC markets and ensuring that we are seeing an increase in investments

•Help activate go to market strategic approaches for new products across target clients

•Engage with senior level demand leads across APAC to help define sales strategy with respect to engaging with direct advertisers and brands

•Assist supply function in garnering views from advertiser and brands

•Develop a sales strategy & execute for advertiser and brands

Travel as necessary in support of business objectives (prospect/client meetings, conferences, internal meetings)

Qualifications:

•10+ years of related experience in sales, business development, and/or product within an advertising technology company

•Deep understanding of the ecosystem from the advertiser and brand perspective in Australia, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore and Japan

•Established relationships across key advertisers and brands in APAC

•Growth mindset: willing to take risks, ask questions

•Solution leadership: able to shape the roadmap of features requested by clients and lead discussion in relationship with our Product Management and R&D team

•Understand the dynamics of the sell-side, most notably operations of supply side platforms and ad serving tech

•Clear communicator and service-oriented leader

•Ability to present effectively to C-level executives and confidently navigate challenges

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Learning, Teaching and Assessment

• Provide outstanding academic leadership across the School in teaching, including development and maintenance of academic standards.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons and set assessment and learning activities to a range of classes and age groups of students (including overseas colleges, if required).
• Monitor student progress through the application of formative and summative assessment strategies that support appropriate feedback and skills development.
• Monitor student success rates to an agreed standard across all student levels.
• Conduct administration duties pertinent to the programmes of study in the School.
• Review and ensure the quality of all examination papers set for the School and manage the moderation of examination results.
• Conduct objective assessments on examination appeal cases.

Application Assessment

• Assess and approve international and local applications.
• Escalate or refer applications to the Head of School for further assessment where necessary.
• Coordinate with university partners on any progression matters, if necessary.
• Review and execute academic and language minimum entry requirements for all programmes for the Schools.

Curriculum/Partnership Development, Management and Administration

• Periodically review and develop programmes pertinent to the School to ensure continued relevance and quality improvement of curricula.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate teaching materials to cover the learning outcomes of the different programmes of study.
• Develop online learning strategies with a duality of pedagogical functions (online learning, Blended learning).
• Lead in exploring new programmes to grow the School.
• Manage academic partnerships and courses.
• Coordinate and prepare information for inspection and quality assurance assessments.
• Improve the management of administrative resources including the optimal use of shared services.
• Deliver responsive quality assurance processes and outcomes that promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the development of partnerships with national and international academic and non-academic organisations, government and commercial sector.
• Represent and work closely in Academic Committees

Management of Staff

• Responsible for the management of academic staff in the School.
• Mentor and advise new academic colleagues (including Associate Lecturers) and provide support, where necessary.
• Review and approve teaching assignments for Associate Lecturers.
• Assign and manage academic workloads for all full-time academic in the School.

Student Success

• Manage and engage students during classroom management.
• Engage in student development by providing strong learning support and monitoring of students’ academic performances.
• Advise students with respect to academic performance, and pursuit of advanced studies
• Conduct and assign staff to assist in new student orientation.
• Refer students with academic or personal difficulties to the appropriate channels of support within the Academy.

Budget/P & L Responsibility

• Responsible in budgeting and managing cost for academic areas.

Others

• Represent and participate in marketing events for the School.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as required by the company from time to time.

• 8 and more years in related industry, with significant professional experience in the education field and leadership capacity. Ability to relate to students of diverse nationality, academic and social background will be useful.
• Experience or knowledge of module and programme leadership, development and administration within a higher education environment.
• Ability to engage with and enable organisational change based on a well-developed vision by the senior management team.
