Junior Technical Superintendent is responsible for the planning and controlling all activities connected with safe and efficient operation of the assigned vessels. Responsibilities and Duties

Student, teachers and parent coordination manage classroom, responding to enquires. Candidate will be provided with training.

Qualifications and Skills

Good in spoken and written English, presentable and pleasing personality comfortable to engage with children between 5 to 14 yrs. Prefer candidates with prior teaching, parent, child management and Microsoft Excel.

Job Description & Requirements

1. Assist the Clients with basic activities of daily living

Assistant Teacher Learning Support

Start Date: March 2024 (tentative)

Position: Full-Time, 36 hours/week

The German European School Singapore (GESS) is looking for expressions of interest for Assistant Teacher Learning Support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teaching in learning support for Grade 1-12.
• Supervising and teaching small groups.
• Helping to prepare lesson materials.
• Exam invigilation Grade 6-12 (including mock and final IB exams)
• Supervise study hall for grade 11and 12 students.

Requirements:

• Fluent spoken and written English
• Fluency in other languages a plus as you will be communicating with colleagues and students who speak various languages
• Tertiary education qualifications a plus
• Experience working with students across primary to secondary school levels
• Willingness and ability to learn and take direction
• Flexibility, organisation skills and a caring attitude

• Assist to procure ship essentials;
• Assist to collate the procurements and vessel's location;
• Update of required information;
• Update and filing of vessel's certificates;
• Liaise with crews for crew's seaman book and passport;
• Delivery of documents to shipyard whenever necessary;
• Billing.

2. Support the Logistics department

• Assist to get quotation from freight forwarding companies;
• Assist to arrange for crane/trucking etc whenever required;
• Required to attend to loading / unloading of cargos at times;
• Collate all documents/jobs for billing.

3. Office support

• Booking of hotels for customers, restaurants etc;
• Arrangement of buffets for office functions;
