As a Test and Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, testing & commissioning activities for the railway industry.

Responsibilities:

· Provide electrical and protection system solution to support in testing, commissioning and design handover of systems for MRT projects and Metro depots.

· Work closely with Engineering, T&C teams, Site Installation teams.

· Handle design, testing and commissioning of Electrical switchgear –Medium Voltage & High Voltages, Transformers DC power systems (DC Switchgear, Rectifiers, Inverters, Load break switches, Voltage limiting device, stinger systems, FVME, Isolator panels etc..) and interface with PLC / SCADA systems etc and interface with PLC / SCADA systems etc.

· Support projects round the clock during DLP and handover activities.

· Maintain close contact with clients and vendors.

· Follow carefully the safety guide lines as per HSSE & OSHA’s policy of the company.

· Preparation of Cable List, Cable termination List for the installation requirements.

· Preparation of Site Acceptance Test Procedures, Test forms and Interface Test Procedures and test forms.

· Troubleshooting of Electrical equipment during Commissioning, Clearing punch lists given by the client.

Requirements:

· Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

· Possess 7 year’s experience in testing and commissioning activity in the respective field.

· Hand on experience with Siemens Protection relays, parameterization, PLC / SCADA communication protocols.

· Hand on experience with DC equipment for traction systems from Siemens, Secheron.

· Possess good knowledge on Electrical switchgear, protection systems & Automation systems.

· Independent and with good communication skills.

· Able to work in culturally diverse environment

Responsibilities:

Operations and Maintenance Regime (Preventive and Corrective Maintenance)

• Daily and Weekly Work Planning and Duty Roster
• Manage day-to-day functions of facility technicians and gather feedback and observations from routine inspections
• Guide and monitor Facility Technicians whenever help is needed to resolve facility / building issues while ensuring Workplace Safety
• Prepare the maintenance schedule and arrange contractors for servicing
• To ensure all preventive, corrective maintenance and ad-hoc works are duly carried out to ensure facilities and Fire Safety Equipment are in good working conditions
• To maintain and schedule the periodic maintenance and servicing Plants compressors, pumps and all equipment.
• To maintain Chiller plants and monitor the plant efficiency. Including Cooling Tower, Condenser pump and AHUs.
• Hands on Electrical, Mechanical, Sanitary and Plumbing works as needed to support Technicians
• Support Emergency Response Plan
• Coordinate with Safety/Security Team and landlord to verify Building/Fire Alarms and record events.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ of maintenance working experience in marine shipyard industry
• Hands on experience in welding machine and CNC plate cutting machine troubleshooting works.
• Possess good communication skills and be able to relate different levels of people
• Have a good safety mindset and displays good WSH behavior.

• Work closely with internal team members and external suppliers to address product-related quality issues, and drive corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc).
• Min. 5 year's relevant working experience in the Manufacturing/EMS/Semiconductor industry or experience in quality environment.
• Working knowledge in 5S, PFMECA, SPC & ISO 9000 series Quality system.
• Knowledge of International quality standards ISO.
• Able to communicate effectively across all levels.
• Strong knowledge and ability to read mechanical drawings with knowledge of CMM, profile projector, and measuring equipments.
