2. Training and Support:Train and support Chief Cooks and Captains on catering software.
   Discuss feedback with the Captain and Catering Committee.
   
3. Reporting:Provide detailed reports to management with findings and recommendations.
   Ensure suppliers adhere to Oceanic Catering’s quality standards.
   
4. Provision Management:Prepare quotes, purchase orders, and facilitate procurement if requested.
   Monitor operating budgets and address overconsumption issues.
   
5. Collaboration and Communication:Assist departments with relevant information.
   Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
   Perform other duties as required by catering management.
   

Requirements:

• Experience as Head Chef, Camp Boss, Chief Cook, or Provision Master on vessels.
• Knowledge of Food Safety Management, Stock Handling, and Administration.
• Skills in training and auditing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting Systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral).
• High integrity, positive attitude, and team leadership skills.

Overview

The Accounting Manager reports to the Director and is responsible to oversee all the company’s financial and accounting operations. Duties includes accounts receivable/payable, data entry/compilation, generating of accounting reports and other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing daily operations of accounting department, preparing and reviewing appropriate entry reconciliations and maintaining general ledger system, including ensuring accurate financial data inputs in system.
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues. Track progress of financial and accounting objectives.
• Establish accounting policies and procedures to align with company’s targets and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
• Generating of taxation / accounting reports.
• Bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
• Liaising with auditors in their queries during financial year reporting.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a BSc Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent.
• At least 2-3 years working experience in related field is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data, well organized, meticulous and an eye to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and effective at prioritizing and meeting tight deadlines at times.
• Processes problem-solving attitude and team management skills.
• Knowledge in Xero accounting software would be an added advantage.

Responsible for the project quality and safety plan

· Monitoring the sub-contractor schedules

· Ensure company ISO and OHSAS requirements are fully implemented on projects

· Updating and alerting Project Manager on delays and suggesting ways to expedite progress and catch up on delays

· Scheduling programs and weekly/monthly basis updates

· Perform schedule monitoring and updating on construction schedules preparation of periodic progress reports with commitments and forecast
