1. Act as the Company’s Appointed Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO).
2. Carry out HSE Inspections of the Workplace;
3. Act as Secretary to the Company’s WSH Committee, if one is appointed;
4. Investigate Non-compliances to the Company’s compliance obligations, including Workplace Safety & Health incidents, Environmental impacts and failure to meet the Clients’ expectations on quality of service provided. Prepare report of findings, including recommendations to prevent recurrence and implement approved course of action.
5. Develop and Manage the Company’s Risk Management Procedure;
6. Develop, recommend, and implement QHSE Promotion activities. Conduct QHSE presentations and training to employees as required.
7. Develop & Monitor the QHSE requirements of Projects including QHSE Plans, Emergency Response Plans. Attend Client QHSE Meetings as required.
8. Assistance to the whole Team with Clients’ QHSE requirements and compliance, including client QHSE Audits.
9. Develop and Monitor the implementation of the Company’s Safe Management Measures (SMM) i.e. Pandemic Control Measures, until such Measures are no longer legally required.
10. Monitor and advise on Industry Best Practices which the Clients’ may require, including Advisories or Recommendations published by WSH Council, ASMI, IMCA, IOGP, ADCI, & CDA(S);
11. Develop and Maintain the Company’s QHSE Management System (QHSE-MS) in conformance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and BizSafe Star requirements, including managing its implementation by conducting internal audits, investigating non-compliances and promoting continuous improvements.
12. Reviewing reports which will be submitted to the client.
13. Arrange and attend mandatory site visits to ensure QHSE issues are followed in accordance to client’s/site requirements.
14.Updating and maintaining safety KPIs to super oil majors and relevant clients.
