Execute all freight contracts related to the specific vessels, i.e. vessels nomination, laytime calculation, calculation of payments and/or receipts and operating schedules for individual vessels
Be involved in daily freight operations tasks including
Payment of preliminary and final disbursements accounts
Keeping track and chasing of third party outstandings
Handling settlements in the system for payment including freight operations and bunker payments
Obtaining info required for credit / KYC purposes
Tracking of LOIs / OBLs

REQUIREMENTS
Degree or Diploma holder
3-7 years’ experience in commercial dry bulk operations
Ability to operate ships independently/ with minimal supervision
Experience with Time Charter and Voyage Charter operations will be a plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and has good computer skills

Job Scope:

• Administer general tasks related to purchasing, delivery, and goods receipt, including vendor registration. Handle the submission of progress claims.
• Source and acquire equipment and materials based on project requirements. Generate Sales Orders from client Purchase Orders.
• Create Purchase Orders and send them to relevant suppliers/vendors. Negotiate and coordinate with suppliers, internal teammates, and external vendors to secure the best pricing and ensure timely delivery.
• Provide updates and reports on Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) lead times for Project Managers. Maintain databases and records accurately.
• Enter pricing information into the Microsoft NAV system with precision. Carry out internal monthly closing activities, adhering to company policies and procedures. This includes tasks such as managing Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and Goods Receipt.
• Collaborate with the Finance department to establish payment schedules. Perform any other necessary duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and monitoring of IT Infrastructure Systems to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software systems
• Provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support to end user and ensure Business As Usual
• Involve with infrastructure project & setting up new site office
• Design and perform server and IT security audits, system backup procedures and other recovery processes
• Implement security systems (Firewall and user access right) and redundant backups to maintain data safety
• Sourcing for vendors and conduct research on software and system products to justify recommendations to support purchasing efforts
• Maintaining documentation which relates to system configuration, mapping, processes and service records
• Monitor and test system performance, prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports

Requirements:

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity. Preferably with server, network and firewall experience.

• Candidate with security knowledge is an added advantage
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Products
• Travel to various site location around Singapore
• Able to work independently & multi-task
