Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-house HSSE training to new employee.
• Management of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 documentation and implementation.
• Collaborate work with JGCAP group companies in organizing and meeting HSSE deliverables.
• Networking with JGC YOC & JGBL on HSSE programs implementation as part of continual improvement.
• Prioritizing and shaping HSSE task to meet on time delivery of request in an efficient manner.
• Support local and JGCAP project team on HSSE matters.

Within Asia Operations, the Securities team is responsible for processing and managing the risk relating to securities & derivatives settlements, securities transfers, corporate actions, asset creation and maintenance.

The incumbent will be part of this exciting function and is responsible for:

• The processing and controls of the processes within the Securities function.
• Ensuring efficiency and productivity in delivering quality services to Azqore’s clients.
• Working closely with his/her colleagues to provide clients with technical expertise and solutions, in a comprehensive, timely and accurate manner.

Job Responsibilities

Daily BAU

• Successful applicant will be responsible for the management of the Corporate Actions processing within the Asia Securities Operations team. Understanding of the core system and process workflow are essential.
• Ensure operational efficiency and excellence and maintain low levels of operational risk
• Align the Asia Securities Operations team members to the Operations and Company goals and vision
• Act as the point of contact for Asian clients on all Asia Corporate Actions queries, concerns and issues
• There is an expectation that he/she understands the relevant markets and demonstrate front-to-back knowledge of the process(es) he/she is handling
• Proactively manage and resolve discrepancies, relating to the functions he/she is responsible for, with internal and external stakeholders, both locally and abroad

Others

• Act as the deputy for the Head of Asia Securities Operations
• Lead Azqore Operations projects and initiatives, including the upcoming migration of other Corporate Actions processes into Asia
• Drive cross border collaboration and strengthen communication channels between the Swiss and Singapore teams
• Enhance client service standards within the team, and consequently the client ratings of the function
• Propose/identify value-add solutions which can impact profitability

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree, and / or professional qualification in Banking / Finance.
• Preferably with 10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Actions processes and 5 years of people management experience.
• Familiar with financial products as well as the market infrastructures, regulations and operational risks. Knowledgeable about SWIFT messages types.
