AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
Business Planning & Analytics
• Consulting partner for Heads of Marketing
• Provide framework and guidance on Marketing plans
• Identify business drivers, threats and opportunities with data-backed analyses
• Facilitate and influence discussions with insights, craft optimization experiments and gain commitment from stakeholders to execute.
• Build predictive intelligence capability by evaluating seasonality, trends, marketing opportunities and upcoming activities
• Drive operational cadence, including weekly WIP meetings, Quarterly Marketing Review (QMR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) preparation
KPI Reporting & Performance Measurement
• Measure all aspects of business performance, including database cleanliness, campaign effectiveness, pipeline contribution
• Recommend actionable metrics to increase visibility into the business
• Automate reports across multiple data sources
Systems, Tools & Process
• Leverage all Marketing Automation technology, tools, data, and processes to support demand generation and customer engagement
• Collaborate with Corporate Marketing Team to drive locally-relevant enhancement to the systems and tools
• Drive cross-functional process improvement and projects that will result in improved efficiency of the team.
Lead Management
• Manage, enhance and optimize the end-to-end Lead Management process in conjunction with sales and marketing stakeholders
• Identify and implement processes to increase sales opportunities and sales cycle efficiencies through contact database management and refined lead management strategies.
Budgeting Reviews and Procurement
• Consolidate budget allocation
• Track program expenses in adherence to Procurement and Finance policies
