RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement station format and programme strategies by reviewing listener trends and matching them with the broad directions approved by management.

We seek an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our team and contribute to A*STAR"s digital strategy. Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

Guided by a 10 year Strategic Framework and a four year Program Design (2022-2026). APLMA is well positioned continue building visibility for Asia Pacific both regionally and globally through robust technical advocacy.

A highly motivated and mission-driven individual, the Senior Associate Director will be responsible for the oversight and management of APLMA country program activities aimed at combatting Malaria, Vector-Borne and Neglected Tropical diseases across the Asia Pacific region. This role will be instrumental in leading the development and implementation of effective engagement strategies for both high-burden and near-elimination countries.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise in malaria, vector borne, or other infectious diseases coupled with familiarity in working with national public health programs, as well as, bi- and multi-lateral partners. He/She should also be a strategic thinker, with health policy engagement and a passion for public health. He/She will report to the Executive Vice President for Strategy.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Engagement: Country Programs

• Engage strategically with specific in-country partners while providing oversight of a comprehensive Asia Pacific country engagement strategy with a key focus to support high-burden countries (India, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea) and near-elimination countries (Greater Mekong Sub-Region).
• Oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of country support programs, ensuring APLMA’s alignment with relevant national malaria / vector-borne disease control / neglected tropical disease programs within the Ministry of Health / Department of Health’s organizational goals and strategies and in coordination with WHO and other technical partners.

• Coordinate and collaborate with global and regional bodies such as the RBM Partnership to End Malaria, WHO HQ, SEARO, WPRO, EMRO, ASEAN, Pacific Island Forum, SAARC and international partners such the Gates Foundation, The Global Fund, the Asian Development Bank, bilateral agencies such as DFAT and USAID, so as to leverage resources, share best practices, and enhance the impact of interventions.
• Coordinate with APMEN and the Working Groups to identify opportunities for technical support, sharing best practices, elevating country experiences and latest developments in implementation research etc.

Skills & Qualifications:

Qualifications

• Master's degree in infectious diseases, public policy, public health, international development or related fields.

Experience

• Minimum of 10 to 12 years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale, multi-year public health programs, with a focus on malaria, vector-borne diseases, or neglected tropical diseases.
• Experience working with global health donors, bi-lateral and/or multi-lateral development agencies will be an added advantage.

Put in place SOPs for the SRIS Grant pre and post award functions, including but not limited to setting grant criteria, putting up relevant documents, setting up a roadshow, timeframe for call to be open, evaluation panel set up, meetings set up, LOAs, FOAs, approvals required at each stage, timeframe of the entire process etc.
• Work with colleagues and Principal Investigators (PIs) for pre-award and post award management of a full suite of Grants (from A*STAR, NRF, NMRC etc.), from the Grantee’s perspective, which include, but are not limited to: Liaising with funders and collaborating institutions on grant-related matters. Supporting PIs in grant administration and reporting, and ensure compliance with grants terms and conditions. Monitoring project progress and fund utilization. Supporting PIs on budgeting and cashflow projections to facilitate submission of grant applications. Supporting PIs on grant variations such as budget virement, change in scope, grant extension etc.
• Assist in preparation of internal control measures including the required audits.

Position Overview:
The Enterprise Sales Director will be responsible for driving the growth of FailSafe's enterprise sales division. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the web3/blockchain and cybersecurity industries, with a proven track record in enterprise sales. This position is ideal for a professional with 3 to 4 years of experience in enterprise sales, seeking to grow within a high-performance startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for FailSafe's enterprise solutions.
• Identify and engage with potential enterprise clients, understanding their cybersecurity needs and positioning FailSafe’s solutions as the best fit.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target organisations.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective lead generation campaigns.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate and customer satisfaction.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, utilising CRM tools to track and manage sales activities.
• Work closely with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights, influencing product enhancements and innovations.
• Represent FailSafe at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote our brand and solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in enterprise sales, preferably in the web3/blockchain or cybersecurity sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and the web3 ecosystem.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
• Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage sales pipelines and activities.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and eager to take on a managerial role.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
