Role Summary

The Chief Product Officer will be a key member of our executive team, driving the vision, design, strategy, and execution of our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have vast experience in engineering of robust vertical software platforms, a proven track record in leading product development, demonstrating a deep understanding of the educational and science technology market, user experience design, and agile product engineering methodologies.

Responsibilities

· Define and lead the product vision and strategy in alignment with the company's goals and market opportunities.

· Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development through to launch and iteration, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.

Requirements for the Role

• At least 20 years’ experience in Software Engineering roles (could include development, product management, strategy, system architecture, etc) with specialisation in complex vertical platforms development
• At least 10 years of strategic leadership experience in software companies developing vertical platforms
• At least 7 years of experience running Software Quality Assurance practice, past experience driving a software engineering company through ISO 9000 certification
• Master’s degree in a natural sciences field, past scientific research or teaching experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of cutting edge AI/ML technologies and their application in educational and scientific settings
• Demonstrated analytical mindset and systematic approach to execution
• Experience with product exploration and go to market, product design, product planning and development
• Exceptional leadership skills, with experience building and mentoring high-performing product teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate vision and strategy at all levels of the organization and to external partners.
