Responsibilities
The job holder’s responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young persons for whom they are responsible,
or with whom they come into contact will be to adhered to and ensure compliance with the relevant Cognita Safeguarding; Child Protection Policy and Procedures at all times. If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance
that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, they must report any concerns to the School’s
Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head or indeed to the Cognita Regional Safeguarding Manager so that a referral can be made
accordingly to the relevant third party services.
● Change Agent - to inspire educators, students, parents and leaders to use technology to create inclusive, equitable and transformative learning.
● Connected Learner - to model lifelong learning by constantly growing and improving their coaching practice.
● Collaborator - to establish productive relationships and coaching cycles with educators to improve instructional practice and learning outcomes.
● Learning Designer - to co-plan and co-design inclusive learning experiences and environments to meet the needs and interests of all students.
● Professional Learning Facilitator - to plan, provide and evaluate the impact of professional learning for educators and leaders to use technology to advance teaching and learning.
● Data-Driven Decision-Maker - to model and support educators in the use of qualitative and quantitative data to inform instruction and professional learning.
● Digital Citizen Advocate - to model digital citizenship and support educators and students in recognizing the responsibilities and opportunities inherent in living in a digital world.
Position Requirements
● At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience with relevant teaching qualifications
● Strong understanding of learning and child development
● Experience designing inclusive learning experiences and promoting student agency
● Experience with Apple products essential (1:1 iPad KG2 - Grade 5, 1:1 Macbook Air Grade 6-12)
● Strong understanding of ISTE Standards, IB Program and AERO Standards preferred
● Google Educator Certification (Level 1 and 2)
● Common Sense Educator Certification
● Organization and time management skills
● Passionate, positive, energetic, loves to learn
● Experience presenting to peers and large audiences preferred
● Possess highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills
● Excellent verbal and written English skills
● Strong references on request
● International teaching experience preferred

Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree in education, technology, or related field
● Relevant Teaching Certification
● Master’s degree in Education preferred
