Responsibilities

• Work with the team to automate testing of new functionalities and services using existing service architecture, delivery pipeline, and test framework
• Create test harnesses and infrastructure supporting Windows, Mac & amp; Linux
• Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test it
• Develop and take ownership of activities/areas for the infrastructure & amp; build a pipeline that can be used to build desktop products:
• Automate all aspects of the application life cycle so that we can build, test, and release the software better
• Triage the pipeline-related issues on a regular basis and device solutions to reduce the triage effort
• Evaluate (commercial, open-source or proprietary) tools and frameworks for better infra and pipeline management
• Drive and champion CI/CD and Automation practices across the platform
• Enforce Engineering Excellence practices and drive quality early in code development; enforcing coding standards and other strategies to improve and ensure code quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on knowledge of one or more of Infrastructure-as-Code tools and technologies like Ansible
• Experience with Metrics, Monitoring & Alerting tool like ELK, Grafana, etc
• Experience with security, secrets management, certificates, encryption, and keys like Vault

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs and documentation for the implementation of building projects, lead and delegate tasks within a workgroup.
• Preparation of calculations required for the design of engineering projects.
• Preparation of specifications, proposals, and other tender documentation.
• Use initiative to resolve tasks or problems that arise at a competent level.
• Act as a technical expert to mentor and develop other structural engineers within the team, and provide structural design expertise in overseeing all technical aspects of projects.

We are seeking a proactive Workspace Technology Engineer to provide end-user support. This role demands a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of managing a range of hardware, software, and AV support issues. You’ll be the key interface between IT and the business, contributing to both day-to-day operations and greenfield projects. The ideal candidate will take initiative to analyze problems, propose solutions, and see them through to implementation while working alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for Workspace Technology issues, managing and resolving problems based on priority and severity.
• Ensure continuous availability of computing resources for end-users, coordinating with IT resources for escalated issues when necessary.
• Support cloud environments including servers, networks, and applications as needed.
• Provide timely resolutions via phone, email, or in-person support.
• Build, deploy, and manage Workspace Technology devices (including imaging, antivirus systems, application maintenance, patching, and system rollouts).

People Management

• Identifies, shortlists, interviews and selects tutors from a certified pool
• Plans and executes deployment of tutors to various centres, according to pre-set guidelines
• Supervises a team of Head Tutors, Tutors and Centre Personnel (including Centre Supervisors, Liaison Officers and Caretakers)
• Demonstrates and role models a high-performance service culture amongst the tutors that nurtures and encourages service excellence, quality and empowerment
• Manages the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of the personnel deployed to each centre to achieve the key outcomes for the team
• Makes efforts to ensure achievement of KPIs with team members
