The NSoE Phase II IoT Sector is looking to hire Research Fellows. Each Research Fellow will contribute in at least one of the following:

1. Research on automated vulnerability discovery (e.g., via Fuzzing) in IoT (Wireless) networked systems;
2. Research on IoT honeypot and threat intelligence.

Qualification & Experience:

• PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in computer networks and/or software testing and/or software security and/or applied machine learning.
• Track record of strong R&D capability, with publications at leading cybersecurity conferences and/or journals.
• Working knowledge of the C/C++ or Python programming language.
• Working knowledge in binary analysis and code reverse engineering is advantageous.
• Familiarity with 5G and Wireless Networking is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Financial & Facilities Management

Accountable for the financial accounting and budgetary control of a centre’s funds and the management and maintenance of centre facilities for safe and optimal utilization

Addresses the regulatory compliance to national frameworks accreditation and licensing standards, centre policies, programmes and curriculum to provide services that meet or exceed standards of practice for children and families

Organisational Management and Continuous Programme Improvement

Encompasses the knowledge, organizational skills and leadership qualities to develop and implement policies and programmes of high quality and standards.

Human Resource Management

Responsible for addressing the principles of organizational culture and management procedures in ensuring a high level of staff quality and opportunities for professional development.

Ensuring effective and open communication channels for the exchange of information, ideas and sharing to build strong professional relationships and uphold ethical, and professional practice.

Leadership, Team Building and Professional Development

Requirements

· Minimum of a diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (Leadership), or its equivalent

· A recognised certificate in infant care and/or a degree in Early Childhood Education from an approved institution will be advantageous (Note: Required if centre offers infant care)

· Minimum 3 years of experience working as a centre leader in a preschool

· High EQ, matured, exemplary leadership and management skills are essential;

· Good interpersonal skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Well versed with the SPARK 0 to 6 years framework, licensing regulations, Early Years Development and Nurturing Early Learners framework

Responsibilities:

• Support full and day-to-day administration in the Human Resource department

• Handle recruitment activities in South East Asia including preparing advertisements, liaise with local vendors,

coordinating interviews, screening suitable candidate for employment, and background checks

• Cooperate with HR outsourcing partnerships regionally with HR shared services

• Conduct orientation for general staff and onboarding & exit formalities

• Coordinate the employee training including NEO and maintain training record

• Assist to do research and data gathering for case resolution where required

• Liaise with cross-functional team with the consolidated details to facilitate payroll processing

• Carry out HR activities in accordance with internal SOPs and statutory compliance

• Participate in HR cycle activities as in performance management, training needs analysis and compensation

planning and implementation where appropriate

• Co-ordinate to plan and organize employee social and recreational events

• Keep a proper and systematic record of documentations and staff data by assembling, and preparing.

Requirements:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Programme Management

• To work closely with other departments to understand Clients' needs and increase meaningful engagement
• To plan, coordinate and execute varied activities for the Clients
• To observe, monitor and provide inputs of Client's participation and behaviours during programmes
• To maintain inventory and replenish programme resources on a regular basis

Volunteer Management

• To source and liaise with potential volunteers
• To conduct briefing for volunteers on role expectations, Client's needs and strategies in engaging clients
• To supervise volunteer activities
• To collect volunteer feedback and analyse the needs / gaps
• To update and coordinate with home staff on volunteer activities

Resident Management

• To assess the needs and set relevant goals for residents, with other team members
• To implement intervention plans, where necessary

Others

• To assist the Programme Executive in other ad-hoc duties assigned

• NITEC or GCE ‘O' or ‘N' Level
