The position

The Renewables (REN) area in Equinor is developing and delivering wind and solar power, storage solutions and hydrogen. We have great ambitions and aim to grow almost 20 times the size within renewables as we are today by 2030. REN aims to do this by combining Equinor’s broad energy competence, project delivery capabilities and ability to integrate technological solutions. Within Renewables, we are hiring for a graduate within Strategy & Business Development discipline in Singapore as part of growing our renewables business in Asia Pacific region. 1. Responsible for the Group Consolidation in LucaNet software for head office Group reporting.

2. Prepare the overall Group Holding Consolidated Financial Statements for the annual statutory audit.

3. Spearhead the annual statutory audit exercise for all individual companies within the Group.

4. Responsible to review all payments prepared by the ship owning team.

5. Monitor and ensure the financial result monthly closing timelines are met.

6. Review monthly financial results for the Group of companies.

7. Responsible to review tax computation (ECI and Form C) for the Group of companies.

8. Responsible for the accounts of dormant and other investment entities outside of the Group Consolidation.

9. Supporting the Management in several ad-hoc exercises.

The ideal candidate will be an integral part of the Structured Credit team, participating in the origination, execution and monitoring of both public and private investments, with a heavy focus within the APAC region. He/She should have a driven and positive entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in origination and execution of structured finance transactions.
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis including financial modelling.

HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Collaborate and work as a team across IA Global Markets, IA and Goldman Sachs
• Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of Global Markets, its products, and supporting functions
• Assist in every step of an audit, including documentation, across scoping, planning, fieldwork and reporting
• Performing walkthroughs with stakeholders to perform control design assessments and presenting results of work performed to management
• Execute audit testing to ensure audit fieldwork is focused on the right areas and documentation meets high quality standards
• Identify risks, assess mitigating controls, and make recommendations on improving the control environment
• Prepare commercially effective audit conclusions and findings, and present to Internal Audit senior management and business stakeholders
• Follow-up on open audit issues and their resolution

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Approximately 1-3 years of prior experience in auditing controls. This could be in an IA team, or consulting, regulatory body or a related control function, with controls testing as part of your role, i.e. compliance testing group or a risk and control team
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability and able to work under minimal supervision on individual tasks or on team projects
• Ability to work effectively across a large audit team, understanding the team's role in the overall strategy of the firm and able to coordinate with global counterparts
• Accurate, accountable and able to multitask while managing both time and work load
• Highly motivated with strong analytical skills, willing and able to learn new business and system processes quickly
• An understanding of Risk Management and Governance skills (Market, Credit, Liquidity, Operational and Model Risk Management) and financial products, Trading Surveillance or Unauthorized Trading Controls is a plus
• Knowledge of financial markets rules and regulations (CFTC, FINRA, Volcker, SEC, etc.) is a plus
• Relevant certification or industry accreditation such as CA, CIA, CFA will be a plus for this role

Reporting to the manager, you will be tasked with UAT as well as trade support activities. You are to prepare and process incoming invoices, monitor payment, follow up on cargo documentation, assist with letter of credit related documentation, update information into the trading system as well as perform ad hoc related tasks.
