• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, including consolidated statements.
• Assist with the processing of accounts payable and receivable.
• Enter and verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliations and other reconciling tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documents.
• Prepare documentation for external auditors.
• Prepare information for filing tax returns, including GST.
• Assist with forecast/ budgeting as needed.
• Support the accounting team with various projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (E.g., Excel).
• Attention to details and accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Desire to learn and grow within the field of accounting.
