Duties and Responsibilities

• Membership Recruitment & Retention: Plan and execute recruitment and retention strategies. This involves identifying potential new members, conducting outreach activities, and maintaining positive relationships with existing members.
• Members Engagement: Understand members needs and develop plans to address them and resolve member’s complaints quickly and effectively.
• Member Services: Developing and delivering programs, services, and resources that meet the needs of SFA members. This includes organizing workshops, training sessions, and networking events, as well as providing access to industry-specific information, tools, and resources.
• Public Relations: Developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the association's reputation and promote the interests of its members.
• Government Relations: Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments from govertment or related industrial sector and disseminate information to members timely.
• Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials to update Exco on external relations activities and outcomes during Ops and Exco Meetings.
• Tenant Acquisition: Identifying potential tenants for the furniture mall, conducting market research, and actively seeking out businesses that align with the mall's objectives.
• Lease Negotiations: Engaging in lease negotiations with prospective tenants, including discussing lease terms, rental rates, lease duration, and any additional requirements.
• Tenant Relations: Serving as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their concerns, responding to inquiries, and providing support as needed.
• Tenant Sharing Session: Conduct monthly Tenant’s sharing session and minutes taking. Building and maintaining positive relationships with tenants to foster tenant satisfaction and retention.
• Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials to update Bods on tenants related issues during Bod Meetings.
• Asia Pacific Furniture Fair: Planning, organizing, and coordinating industry events, conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. This includes identifying event opportunities, securing sponsorships, managing logistics, and ensuring a successful outcome for both the association and its members.
• The above terms and conditions of service are subject to review by the Management from time to time.

Planning and Specification

• To identify Data Center customer’s needs and enhance the company’s chances of securing orders.
• Conduct company and product presentation for owners, consultants, and any other new external stakeholders.
• To spec in our brand and product into consultant and owner’s vendor list, influence them to apply our brand.
• To work closely with cross functional team, like Engineering, QA, GSC and any other on handling inquiries.

Business Development

• To identify and engage new Data Center customers and consultant, obtain new contacts for key account and regional managers.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of consumers, competitors, and market trends through engagement, to support on market analysis.
• To lead on global purchase / LOA agreement inquiries from customers.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and standards through attending events and seminars, attending individual and group training programs, and reading industry publications and newsletters.
• Communicates the information acquires to superior for the purpose of maximizing on sales opportunities, keeping the department and the business at par with the latest trends and best practices, giving the business a competitive edge and solidifying its position as a market leader.
• To identify and expand business into potential industry segments, develop market entry strategies, engage potential business partners to spec in and obtain enquiries leading to order.

Sales Activities

• Meet with Data Center customers/dealers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our company’s relationship with them.
• Networking through attend exhibitions, seminar and any other activities that can enhance our brand awareness as well as building connections.
• To handle Data Center inquiries and project tenders on assigned region by superior.

Product Development

• Collaborate with engineering and marketing team to identify opportunities for improving existing products and marketing materials, based on market demand and latest advancements.
• Gather feedbacks from clients and dealers, and channel it to engineering, QA & GSC for product and services quality improvement.
• And any other ad hoc task request from superior.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or any equivalent Engineering
• Experience on handing distributor, key accounts & customers
• 3 years of related genset and data center sales experience preferred
• Possess technical presentation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Pivot Table and Advanced Formulas & Analytics
• Effective negotiation and influencing skills
• Having strong ice-breaking and engagement abilities.
• Able to work on any ad-hoc task
• Willing to travel and within short notice

Responsibilities:
