Main Responsibilities:

• Administrative support to the APAC regional senior executives and 5-6 members in the department
• Manage diaries and organizing meetings and appointments for the team.
• Book and arrange travel, visa, transportation and accommodation where required.
• Organize ad-hoc events, trainings and conferences for internal and external events, with and without vendors [related to meeting facilities, resources, technical, internal coordination with participants and speakers]
• Remind the APAC regional senior executives of important tasks and deadlines.
• Compile and prepare reports, presentations and correspondences. (set-up internal survey)

Requirement:

1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

1. Responsible for accounting processes and tasks like reconcile Bank Balance (account reconciliations) & Cash in Bank Balance, ensure figures are matching.

2. Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders,invoices, statements, etc.

3. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

4. Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks

5. Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit

6. Responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance

7. Preparing analyses of accounts, sending statements on a monthly basis

8. Filing and scanning of documents / (Purchase Invoices / Sales Invoices / Bank Entry documents / GL entry docs / Inter co invoices)

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE

1. Review and verify invoices and check requests

Main Responsibilities:

• Learn to manage the (re)insurance intermediation as part of the team including risk placing, client servicing, claims handling, and associated functions.

• Learn to use appropriate class of business knowledge to produce contract documents and documents suited to the client’s needs.

• Maintain up-to-date and orderly files, and ensure documents are saved and files are passed on to the others in accordance with Company Rules and Procedures.
• Check final contract documents against slip or proposal details to ensure appropriateness of the proposed standard policy.
• To work closely with Finance department in resolving accounting and technical queries.
• Provide and gather information to and from Clients and Underwriters as required.
• Facilitate KYC compliance checks as relevant.
• Escalate any potential problems to senior brokers and account executives.
• Maintain proper meeting and call records.
