• Salary Range : Up to S$6,000 Per month

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for full set of accounts including management of financial records, general ledger maintenance, AP and AR.
• Prepare and analyse accurate monthly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct credit assessments and evaluations for new and existing clients, ensuring compliance with credit policies and risk management guidelines.
• Actively monitor and manage overdue accounts, implementing effective credit control strategies to minimize risk and maintain client relationships.
• Be involved in Debt Recovery for overdue client accounts and liaising with internal departments to resolve outstanding invoices and payment discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and tax requirements, preparing and submitting necessary documentation.
• Responsible for the budget planning, and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice
• General management of the team in terms of monitoring and access eligibility of disbursement and internal claims.

Requirements:

• Degree Holder, those with CPA certification would be advantageous.
• More than 8 years of independent accounting management experience in entity enterprises.
• Have budget planning and final account management experience
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax requirements, and credit policies.
• Team management skills is essential in this role.
• Proficient in and drafting of financial management systems, and implementing financial management systems
• Proficiency in Cash Flow Management
• Have experience in bank account opening and account management
• Experience in collections / accounts receivable for overdue payments
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

BASIC FUNCTION

Assist the Head of BDO Unibank Singapore in the overall activities related to Investment Accounts for the Regulated Activities under the Securities and Futures Act (SFA) and the Financial Advisers Act (FAA) to achieve its overall objectives and targets.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop and maintain client relationships to build market share and enhance client asset size over time. Achieve annual revenue targets and objectives.

2. Provide investment advisory to Private Banking clients. Formulate investment strategies aligned to clients’ objective and risk profile.

3. Initiate product idea generation as subject matter expert and keep breast of developments in the market.

4. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of clients’ business and source of wealth generation

5. Maintain full understanding of client goals and risk tolerance to ensure that financial strategies are appropriate

6. Ensure coverage of all relationships through client engagement, risk profiling and financial planning

7. Explain the investment product features, risks, fees and charges, and other sales-related information to the customer;

8. Perform suitability assessment to identify Unsuitable Products (which are disallowed for sale) or Mismatch Products (which require approval from management prior to execution of the order instruction);

9. Present and communicate complex financial concepts and investment strategies with the highest degree of professionalism

Must Have

• Experience in development and implementation of IT Systems for Banking Industry and their integration with external applications, e.g. Control Systems, etc.
• Experience in transition management for major projects having multiple technology and transformation initiatives
• BFS Domain experience and knowledge on Retail banking and digital channels, Cloud migration, Data technology.
• Good understanding of Digital technologies - Examples, not limited to UI/UX, Data, Cloud, Automation, NextGen stack and so on.
• Customer engagement experience with business and IT stakeholders - Experience to manage and grow the business and relationship with the account.
• Certification in Agile and experience in Retail Banking Reporting Projects following Agile Models

Roles & Responsibilities

The Transition Manager will be responsible for driving tarnsition for diverse technology projects for Banking industry.

• Drive the Banking technology project which requires good knowledge on Java, Cloud and digital banking channels.
• Plan and execute the transition for digital channels and associated initiatives.
• Engage with multiple internal and customer stakeholders to align on transition plan and timelines.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with diverse customer base. Understand their needs, provide technology-based solutions, and drive customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and support.
• Manage Transition strategy and approach across a series of projects or component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changes.
• Assist business stakeholders with the decomposition of complex business requirements into Epics and User Stories that can be delivered by Technology teams via respective backlogs with minimum cross product co-ordination.
• Ensure Technology programmes align to account strategies and contribute to towards achieving strategic aims.
• Ensuring that all Technology practices and associated tools are being adopted and adhered to within the Program.

The Business Development Manager of Personal Lines, who reports directly to the Senior Business Development Manager is responsible for supporting the Personal Lines business in the execution of the below duties:

Risk and Compliance

• Review and ensure all external emails and reports do not contain any sensitive information or PII of our policyholders.
• Ensure all sales reports are encrypted with a password before sending to external parties.
• Ensure all email correspondent and sales results are send to the correct parties to avoid any potential data breaches.
• Maintain “clean-desk” policy and ensure there are no sensitive information lying around workstations.

Account Management and Business Development

• Support account channels on their queries relating to the Personal Lines products and programme (e.g. policy changes, policy coverage and claims)
• Prepare and provide monthly reports to share portfolio performance and prepare invoices for billing or raise procurement request for payment.
• Review weekly and monthly reports to ensure numbers are on tracked.
• Evaluate and analyse the overall portfolio performance, including claims experience and expenses to ensure profitability.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments from partners.
• Perform analysis on the portfolio performance and engage partners regularly to share results.
• Conduct trainings and briefings to Govt channels.
• Prepare meeting minutes, identify actions points and follow up on the required actions.
• Work closely with partners to ensure service level standards and deliverables are met

Business Support

• Process improvement - Identify areas of improvements to streamline the existing processes for efficiency
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure support is given to ensure we can meet the agreed SLA.
• Marketing support (co-creation of marketing materials with stakeholders and other sales activities i.e. roadshows and seminars)
• Conduct briefing and prepare FAQs for internal stakeholder (i.e. Contact centre, Telesales) if we require their support to handle any enquiries
• Work with internal stakeholders to map out all the processes and new codes creation for new partnerships.
• Responsible to work with Legal to draft all new and renewal contracts.
• Working with Legal and Compliance to clear new processes required to support partnership models
• Ad-hoc task or projects assigned by Supervisor/HOD.
• To cover other account managers during their absence.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in account management roles and working with multiple stakeholders (internal and external stakeholders)
• Proficient in presentations skills with strong command of English (written and spoken)
• Proficient in Excel (use of intermediate level functions like lookups, pivot tables and basic formulas)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong understanding of operational processes (policy and service related)
• Knowledge/certification in general insurance is preferred
