REQUIREMENTS:

We are looking for a data analyst with a strong interest in working with large-scale datasets and have experience with analyzing molecular -omics datasets such as transcriptomics, proteomics and metabolomics data. The candidate should have a strong interest in biology, understanding human diseases and most importantly be willing to learn. He/she will be involved in large-scale clinical projects and performing data-processing to analysis on mass spectrometry-based proteomics experiments. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our research team to study plant epigenetics and crop functional genomics. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in performing the mechanisms controlling neural development, pruning, and neurodegenerative diseases using both fruit fly and human brain organoids. The aim of the projects is also to explore mechanisms of neuronal pruning in fruit flies and its implications for autism. The successful candidate is motivated and expected to provide assistance and support for a couple of interesting projects, team up with PhD students or postdocs, and assist in maintaining lab infrastructure. As a Communications Officer with TUMCREATE, you will play a critical role in our research projects by developing and executing communication campaigns. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the recruitment of participants (children and senior citizens). Through your strategic communication efforts, you will help us achieve our research objectives and contribute to the success of our projects. You will be joining a dynamic research team. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop effective communication campaigns to attract and engage potential participants
• Implement communication strategies across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media, to reach target audiences
• Create engaging and informative content that will engage Singapore’s multicultural society, such as advertisements, newsletters, and promotional materials, to support recruitment efforts
• Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of communication campaigns, making adjustments as needed to improve recruitment outcomes.
• Collaborate with the LightSPAN Project team from TUMCREATE and NUS to align communication strategies with project goals

Job Requirements/Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, e.g., communications, marketing, public relations, psychology, health sciences, or similar from a reputable university
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience (at least 36 months) in developing and executing communication campaigns, preferably in a research or academic setting
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms
• Proficiency in website maintenance
• Proficiency in design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication abilities in English and Chinese dialects (Mandarin, Hokkien)
• Motivated, creative, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department and Accounts Department
• To handle tasks related to accounts receivable
• Prepare billing invoices and submit for e-invoice
• To monitor/ensure AR collection of payment from customers
• Updating/maintaining statement of account
• Responsible for proper filing and sorting of documents
• Renew vehicle insurance and road tax
• Perform ad-hoc duties as and when required

Requirements

• Minimum Nitec/Higher Nitec/ Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
• At least 1year of relevant working experience
• Detail-oriented and meticulous
• Computer literate

• Coordinates with other departments internally, on stock availability and delivery schedules and to maintain tight inventory control.

Requirements

• ‘N’/’O’ level, or Certificate or equivalent in Purchasing/ Materials/ Supply Chain Management
• Effectively multilingual in order to liaise with Chinese speaking outlet person in charge and vendor.
• Basic knowledge in Food and Non Food item.
• Positive work attitude.
• Good administrative and problem solving skills.
