Financial Accounting (80%) :

Job description:

The scope of work for the above job title includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• General Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and general ledger entries.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Bank Reconciliations: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Tax Compliance: Preparation of GST returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Audit Support: Prepare schedules and provide necessary documentation for internal and external audits.
• Financial Documentation: Maintain accurate financial records, filing systems, and documentation in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Ad hoc tasks: Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed, including reporting and analysis.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. o Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Oracle NetSuite) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Language: Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GST filings and tax compliance in Singapore.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local accounting standards.

Working Hours: 44 hours per week

Monday to Friday : 8 hours per day

Saturday : 4 hours (After successful completion of probation period, you will have the flexibility to work from home on Saturdays)

Responsibilities

General Ledger Management:

• Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger
• Record daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process invoices and payment requests
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable ledgers
• Ensure proper system of filing of documents and correspondences

Bank Reconciliations:

• Reconcile company bank accounts and resolve discrepancies

Financial Reporting:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Support with the preparation of management reports and variance analysis

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals and adjustments

Ad-hoc Financial Tasks:

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar junior accounting role or internship
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial statements in accordance with SFRS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and knowledge in accounting software, Tally will be preferred
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn

Responsibilities:

• Prepare/ Assists in preparing full sets of accounts for internal accounting function
• Support in preparing weekly / monthly reports quarterly, and Year-end closing of account
• Assist in preparation of financial reports
• Review of billings, payment & staff claim prepared by employees
• Assist in GST Filing and Tax submission
• Provide timely support in budget and forecast
• Ensure compliance with statutory and accounting requirements
• Other adhoc duties that may be assigned

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent MS office skills especially on Microsoft Excel

Job Title: Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

• Process and record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.

Reconciliation:

• Reconcile bank statements with company accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Reconcile customer and supplier accounts periodically.

General Ledger Management:

• Maintain and update the general ledger for accurate record-keeping.
• Able to independently handle month-end and year-end closing activities.

Financial Reporting:

• Preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Provide detailed financial data to assist management in decision-making.

Tax and Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, GST, and other regulatory filings.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and report discrepancies.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements: Diploma or relevant certifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
