Specific Safety Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the technical standard for Electrical Power Distribution equipment so as to ensure the highest level of operational safety for the MRT system
• To enforce Departmental Works Instruction system and all Rail related safety rules and procedures
• Responsible for the safety of departmental staff, related contractors and others working on the Electrical Power Distribution system in the NEL MRT premises

The above activities are no means exhaustive and are subjected to amendment whenever is needed.

Job Specifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience in both HV and LV environment, preferably in a rail transportation industry
• Electrical Power System background.
• Preferably Licensed Electrical Worker (Technician Grade)

Job Description

- Engage potential clients to determine their needs and work with faculty to develop high quality programme proposals on time
- Engage in simple contract negotiations
- Develop new programmes with faculty that would meet market demands
- Market existing programmes to targeted audience
- Support the delivery of programmes, predominantly in Singapore, but occassionally overseas if required (eg. oversee logistics, liaison with faculty and participants etc.)
- Supporting online programme curation and delivery
- Conduct post-programme evaluation with client and faculty
- Work with internal departments to fulfill other administrative duties as required (eg.finance, logistics, operations etc.)

Qualifications

- Minimum university degree
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working on programmes or projects for international institutions or clients
- Experience with end-to-end project management and able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- Knowledge of the South East Asia markets
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Knowledge of other language is a plus
- Sound information technology skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Photoshop
- Experience in Salesforce CRM, and online conferencing and collaborative tools, is a plus
- Skills in database management, or ability to learn these skills quickly and effectively

Key Responsibilities
