Job Description:

As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager with daily operations, ensuring seamless store management, and delivering top-notch customer service. You will oversee sales, staff management, inventory control, and visual merchandising to achieve store objectives. Roles & Responsibilities:

Operational Duties:

• Assist the store manager with day-to-day operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and security.
• Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
• Resolve challenging situations to maintain high customer satisfaction.

Sales & Revenue Generation:

• Work closely with the store manager to implement sales strategies and monitor sales performance.
• Assist in budget planning and monitor expenses to ensure profitability.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee store inventory levels, product ordering, and stock management.
• Analyze sales data and make decisions to optimize inventory levels and product assortment.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Supervise and lead store staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Foster a positive work environment and support staff development.

Visual Merchandising:

• Maintain an attractive and organized store layout aligned with the brand image.
• Implement visual merchandising standards and update displays regularly.

Marketing & Promotions:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotions and events aimed at driving footfall and increasing sales.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of experience in retail management, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
• Good understanding of the retail environment and industry trends.

• Working hours: Weekday shifts: 8am-6pm / 9am-7pm, Weekend shifts: 8am-5pm / 9am-6pm (depending on roster)
• Working days: 5 days per week (1 weekday and 1 weekend off)

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and professionally upon their arrival at the service center.
• Assist customers in scheduling service appointments and provide accurate details regarding service options and pricing.
• Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure vehicles are completed on time.
• Escort customers to the waiting area and keep them updated on the status of their vehicles as needed.
• Support vehicle check-in and check-out procedures, including documenting vehicle conditions and securing customer signatures.

· Clerical receptionist duties such as filing, scanning, uploading and renaming of documents

· Maintain clean reception area, meeting rooms and pantry

Key Responsibilities

• Perform data entry for Purchase Invoices (PO) and Credit Notes in the ERP system
• Record receipts, process payments via internet banking, and update the Cash Book promptly
• Maintain and review vendor remittance details, and input into the system as needed.
• Reconcile vendor accounts upon receipt of statements
• Conduct bank reconciliation once a month
• Input staff reimbursements into the ERP system weekly
• Generate and reconcile GST Input & Output Tax reports once a month
• Compile and prepare Budget Tracking for all departments once a month
