The main objective of the Site Manager is the responsibility for site management and the day to day running of profitable operations. Implementation of “SWIFT” Integrated Distribution Information System and “SWAN” Global Logistics Management System in Singapore, which is a global proprietary system owned and managed by The Sumitomo Warehouse Co., Ltd. (Head office in Japan).

An Integrated Warehouse Management and Tracking System which provides information on inventory and freight tracking in linkage with shipping company systems.

Able to lead, train and support users after implementation of the above systems.

Management and co-ordination of global supply chain for major Japanese Corporations.

Prerequisites:

· Bachelor degree

· Minimum 2 years of Management experience in a major Logistics company with proven track records in System Implementation and Supply Chain Management

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Main duties (as Logistics Assistant):

• Collect samples from Customers
• Loading and unloading of the metal samples by using a forklift
• Allocate and prepare samples (unboxing, repositioning, labelling) for the next process.
• Verify sample identification matches the client request or client documentation
• Send/ collect the samples to or from the workshop
• Set up a good storage place and system to track samples
• Proper labeling and storage of samples from Customers
• Prepare sample to be returned - wrap and pack samples
• Liaise with Test Dept to consolidate tested specimens for return to Customers
• Other ad-hoc duties as required by the head of department

2. Secondary Duties (as Driver)

• Send documents such as reports, invoices to customers.
