Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the operation of the Power Plant in accordance to regulatory requirements and the Singapore Electricity Market Rules.

• Prepare the monthly operations duty shift roster for the Operations Department. Organise the activities on shifts and allocates duties and responsibilities of Technical Officers.

• Ensure the availability of inputs (e.g. gas, diesel) for operational requirements for the shift
• Prepare technical reports on the condition and activities of the plant including incidents.
• Develop standard operation procedures and alarm responses to plant operation malfunction / abnormalies.

Requirements:

• Education in Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years’ of relevant experience in power plant operations
• Possession of a steam boiler engineer 2nd class certification would be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of engineering practices, functions and processes involved in the operation of a power station.

The Technical Project Manager, or known as Engineering Delivery Manager within Thales, is responsible for leading his team to the completion of engineering tasks within committed budgets, schedules, quality and performance for successful bids and projects delivery.
