The Programme Officer contributes actively to the programme needs of MINDS Future Care Planning (FCP) Services under the umbrella of Community-Based Support Services (CSS).  CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that responds to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. We are looking for highly-motivated and enthusiastic individuals with good AI/machine learning/deep learning skills to work on a new initiative on developing an AI approach for scoring of tumor epitope immunogenicity, aiming to better inform the cancer vaccine formulation and predict treatment response.

The Advanced Molecular Pathology Laboratory (AMPL) is a GLP laboratory at IMCB that provides key support to conducting cutting-edge biomedical research and development with a specific focus on laboratory animal histology and pathology. As part of the dynamic team in this laboratory, you will be responsible for providing services to support the needs of researchers. AMPL also provides veterinary diagnostic biopsy services to Singapore’s veterinary community.

Responsibilities:

• Operate histology laboratory equipment to provide histology services to research and the veterinary community.
• Provide high-quality technical services and expertise to researchers in the areas of complex animal tissue collection and processing procedures, as well as other laboratory procedures such as necropsy, tissue embedding, cryotomy, microtomy, histology slide staining, etc.
• Maintain equipment, reagents, and consumables, etc in good working order to ensure continuity of services.
