RESPONSIBILITIES

Work done will be at the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), and where relevant, the Industry Directorand Centre Director. As the Programme is interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary by nature, you will be expected to convey your domain expertise and edify others (and vice versa) in as productive, constructive, and collaborative a manner as possible.

You may be asked to participate in the development of use cases and delivery of proof-of-concept prototypes for government and industry partners in the areas of computable contracts and "rules as code". Experience in requirements analysis and agile, iterative methodologies will be useful at this stage.The work of the team will be largely determined by these use cases and customers. We will work with multipleuse cases so that we can abstract across them and develop generalized, reusable infrastructure. We will work with specific customers so we can build useful applications on top of that infrastructure.You will work as part of a team of research engineers, developers, and domain expertise and you will beexpected to actively participate in team meetings and text-based communications. You will be expected to be active members of the applied research community, by validating and contributing to advances in computational law.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be required to work closely with and at the direction of the PI andIndustry Director. This includes:

• Determining and planning the core requirements, deliverables, budget, and resources of a use case or research project
• Allocating tasks and designating responsibilities by identifying the specific skill sets of engineers
• Supervising the research team and monitoring progress of technical tasks on a daily basis,
• Leading project milestones tracking and ensuring that project objectives and timelines are met

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Position Offered

This is a temporary project-based position, Project Coordinator (LE4), for three months (extendable depending on the project requirements) to onboard a new Contacts and Events system for the Australian High Commission.

The Australian High Commission Singapore is looking for someone to manage the migration of contacts data from a range of sources onto a new Salesforce based contacts and events system.

The position will be responsible for migrating data to the new system and consolidating the database, learning how to use it (training and support will be provided), then in turn sharing, training and documenting this for other key users across the High Commission.

Job Description

• Cleanse, update and migrate data from the existing contact lists into the new system.
• Work closely with the Australia team regarding the migration and functionality of the new system.
• Work with internal stakeholders at post to identify business needs and use of the new system.
• Become a master user of the system, with the ability to maintain, add and remove contacts and create invitations and events.
• Undertake the role of a trainer and system.
• Create SOPs on the regular system maintenance.
• Any ad-hoc duties as per assigned

Requirements

• Strong IT skills with demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office, particularly in Outlook, Word and Excel (Vlookup & Pivot Table), and data manipulation.
• Is detail-oriented and able to handle a range of inputs and large database.
• Independent, good organisational skills and ability to work with limited direction.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, a team player and able to manage and share information within the workplace.
• Sound judgement, including an ability to develop and interpret policies, guidelines, regulations, and other relevant material.
• Experience in Salesforce is not required, training will be provided on how to use this system.
• Able to start in short notice.

The Project Manager (PM), based in Singapore, will liaise with the Client on the progress of the project. The PM is the main point of contact for the Client on a day-to-day basis. The PM shall ensure that the coordinated communications strategy works effectively across the external stakeholder groups, including managing the document register, actions tracker, project schedule, progress dashboard, internal Project Team channel and file database, and preparing weekly and monthly progress reports and attending the progress meetings. The PM shall also coordinate the on-site time and travels of the Egis team, and oversee the overall project budget.

• Review and update the Project Management Plan and associated documents

• Organize the team mobilization all along the project

2. Estimating and planning

• Update the schedule, the costs, the performance, and risks.
• Coordinate the Egis team (including subcontractors) and adapt the workload according the needs of the project within the contractual framework

3. Measuring and controlling

• Oversee, manage and control the performance of the Project
• Monitor and evaluate the progress of the project
• Implement corrective actions when actual status does not align with planned status.

• Present regular reports for Project director and senior management in relation to the project
• Regular communication with the Partners, Subcontractors and Directors

2. Leading and Directing

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION LEVEL

- Bachelor or Master Degree (or above) awarded by a tertiary institution in any part of the world or equivalent

- Project Management certificate is preferred (PMP or PRINCE)

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, Outlook)

- Excellent command of written and spoken English

EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience post qualification

- Aviation related studies with strong requirements for International experience related to System Engineering & Airport/ATC Systems

- Proven experience in Project Management and Project Delivery is mandatory

- A proven track record of working on a complex program

- Experience of working with the MAA, CAA, FAA and other regulatory authorities would be a distinct advantage

- Previous experience expatriated in a foreign office environment is preferred
