Expectations of a Senior Project Manager

• Operations
  • Lead in identifying, documenting and rolling-out new processes or improvements.

  • Planning
    • Capture and document (e.g. Scope of Work, Requirements Specifications, etc.) the project’s business objectives and requirements from the clients.
    • Work closely with the business leads, account management team, department heads and the project team in preparing cost estimates, scope of work, and project timelines. 
    • Manage project timelines and deliverables using tools (to be identified and rolled out as part of the process setup)
  • Execution
    • Manage the day-to-day coordinating the project team to ensure everyone is aligned and progressing towards the project goals.
    • Manage a wide range of projects delivering traditional creatives (e.g. TVC/film, print, OOH, radio, etc.), digital creatives (e.g. CMS, digital assets/content, microsites, digital banners, social, etc.), CRM (strategy & implementation), website / platform builds and/or brand development.
    • Manage 3rd party partners / agencies (for film/photo/print production and digital production) needed to deliver the project scope.
    • Facilitate internal reviews (creative/strategic/functional/technical)with the team to ensure quality output. 
  • Monitoring
    • Provide project status on a regular basis to the team and clients (via WIP sheets, progress reports, utilization reports, burndown chart, daily stand-ups, weekly status meetings, etc).
    • Ensure we are delivering against the agreed scope of work and manage change requests / impact to the overall project delivery.
    • Work with the Finance team to track and ensure projects are within budget and profitable.
    • Flag known & potential issues/risk to the business leads and account management team and provide solutions to address those issues/risks.
    • Anticipating and troubleshooting problems that arise in any production
    • Guiding the team throughout the entire production process
    • Collaborate effectively with Account Management, Planning and the broader creative team to
      develop disruptive and iconic work

Overview:

The project manager will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing projects within specified deadlines and budgets. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams (creative, account servicing, finance and production), ensuring seamless communication and successful delivery of advertising campaigns for our diverse client base.

Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Initiation:
  • Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.

• Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial objectives are met.

  • Provide regular financial updates to the account servicing team, highlighting any budgetary concerns and proposing solutions.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks and challenges early in the project lifecycle.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address unforeseen issues.
• Client Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any client concerns.
  • Ensure client expectations are managed effectively, and feedback is incorporated into project plans.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality campaigns.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of project deliverables to ensure they align with client expectations and agency standards.
  • Flag known & potential issues/risk to the business leads and account management team and provide solutions to address those issues/risks.
• Project Documentation:
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, scope of work, requirements specifications, schedules and status reports and contact reports.
  • Ensure that all project documentation is organized and easily accessible for team members and stakeholders.

The Business Risk and Control Officer will be a key member of the Legal Risk & Control Team supporting both the Legal Department and the Regulatory Strategy and Policy (RSP) team with focus on the Global Assessment Unit coordination role as well as supporting the implementation and execution of new BAU transformation processes to ensure appropriate adherence to firm-wide initiatives and requirements, including operational and compliance risk management programs.

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Help contribute to governance and the facilitation of the execution of the Manager Control Assessment (MCA, i.e.. Risk & Control Self-Assessment) as required by the MCA Standard including the assessment and appropriate approval of risk associated with business changes. 
• Support teams in the quality, completeness, and accuracy of the implementation of the Control Framework, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy and Control Inventory.
• Help contribute to the Lessons Learned Policy, including monitoring of control breaches and dissemination and learnings across other business units for process improvement to limit the occurrence of similar future events and where similar risk exposure might exist.
• Support the review and challenge process, within Legal and RSP, on the effective design and management of controls to mitigate risks as required by the Control Standards, including implementation and operation, conducting the control monitoring, handling deficiencies, and escalating issues for resolution.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving and executing the construction of buildings and infrastructure.

Based in Singapore, the Director, Corporate Planning & Business Intelligence position is a critical leadership position that reports directly to the Vice President Corporate Strategy, in the Corporate Strategy Business Unit. In this role you will collaborate extensively with leaders and all employees, mostly with our Customer Experience and Digital & Technology heads.

This role involves overseeing planning initiatives, the competitive landscape, managing business intelligence processes, and leveraging data to drive informed decision-making.

Corporate Planning and Strategic Alignment:

• Develop and analyze various business scenarios to assess potential impacts on the company's performance.
• Recommend proactive measures to navigate different business situations.
• Ensure that all corporate planning activities are aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain consistency and coherence in strategic initiatives.
• Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
• Build relationships that contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against strategic goals.

Business Intelligence

• Lead the design and implementation of robust business intelligence processes, systems, and tools.
• Champion data-driven decision-making by overseeing the gathering, analysis, and dissemination of actionable insights.
• Establish and maintain best practices for data management, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security in collaboration with the Digital and Technology department.
• Implement governance standards to align with data privacy and security regulations.
• Provide regular updates to leadership on the performance of corporate planning and business intelligence functions.
• Build relationships that contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product organization, emphasizing the financial goals of the company.

Your Profile

• A minimum of 8 years work experience in a Corporate Planning & Business Intelligence in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
• A substantial track record of leadership experience in corporate planning or strategic management, demonstrating a history of successful strategic initiatives.
• Proven ability to provide strategic leadership, aligning corporate planning activities with overall business objectives.
• Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of the Airline and Alliances industry, market dynamics, and customer needs.
• Experience or exposure to global business environments, with an understanding of international market trends and regulatory landscapes.
• High level of proficiency in English is essential, as it is the sole language used for communication with Star Alliance Member Airlines and other external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review operational risk incidents and assess quality, validitiy and effectiveness of preventive measures put up by APD Offices.
• Manage issues and queries related to HO rules from internal counterparts and providing resolution promptly.
• Lead or support OPG assigned adhoc projects/ initiatives related to enhancement of internal controls or improve efficiency of internal process.
• Handle queries and participate in discussions related to audit and/or regulatory topics in nature.
• Coordinate recovery efforts and execution of drill plans with stakeholders during system incidents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience in incident management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of incident management frameworks (e.g., ITIL), root cause analysis methodologies, and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in incident management tools and software.
• Ability to analyze complex situations, conduct in depth reviews and risk assessments, identify critical issues, and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders effectively and presenting to senior stakeholders
