• The Fleet Accountant’s role is part of the accounting services provided to the vessel owners.
• The role manages vessel financial records, crew payroll, budgets, and funding requests, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all vessel-related financial matters.

Responsibilities

1) Financial Record, Keeping & Reporting

• Maintain an accurate and complete set of accounts for assigned vessels, adhering to the international financial reporting standards or other standard or such other standard based on owner jurisdiction.
• Prepare vessel reports, including ad-hoc reports upon request from vessel owners, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the relevant standards.
