The Position

Roles and Responsibilities

• Supervise Construction Works: Oversee daily on-site civil and structural tasks like diaphragm wall construction, deep excavation, tunnels, drainage, pavements, taxiways, and runways.
• Quality Control: Ensure construction complies with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordination: Liaise with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to address technical issues and keep the project on track.
• Health and Safety: Monitor site safety, especially during high-risk activities like deep excavation.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, progress, and compliance with codes and regulations.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years as RTO, with 5 years supervising similar works (diaphragm walls, deep excavation, tunnels, drainage, etc.).
• Education: Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized polytechnic or equivalent.
• Professional Certification: Must be a registered RTO with relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect the installation, testing, and commissioning of gensets (2.5 – 5 MVA) and frequency converters on-site.
• Review and interpret project plans, electrical diagrams, and specifications to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, and contractors to address and resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on work progress, compliance, and any deviations from the plans.
• Ensure all electrical installation activities comply with relevant local codes, regulations, and safety standards.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all site activities, inspections, and incidents.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in power systems engineering, with specific experience in gensets (2.5 – 5 MVA) and frequency converters.
• Certified Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with accreditation from the Singapore Institute of Engineers (IES) or other relevant bodies.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

As a WSH Officer, he/ she is responsible in preventing and eliminating injury and illness to employees and assisting Company to comply fully with relevant and latest Workplace, Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations. Responsibilities/Duties:

• To inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards;

• To recommend changes to protect workers, and educate employees on how to prevent health problems through the use of safety training programs;
• To identify potentially hazardous materials;
