• Ensure that managed subcontractor's work is coordinated through design, preconstruction, shop-drawing production, field installation, testing, startup, and commissioning 
• Work with subcontractors to develop and maintain internal schedules and ensure that all proper elements are tracked on a weekly basis
• In conjunction with the OFCI, QAQC and Commissioning managers, develop OFCI equipment delivery sequences, installation procedures, QAQC checklists, startup and commissioning procedures
• Actively participate in all 5 levels of commissioning:
  • Level 1 - Attend select Factory Witness Testing

Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the Engineering Manager and the subcontractors throughout the construction phase of the largest multistory data center in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating DfMA-related works with the contractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to the Engineering Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) work.

Knowledge and implementation experience of necessary BIM software technologies is required. This role is focused primarily on coordinating BIM on a large complex program with stringent standards and integrated QA/QC requirements.  As the team is built and the project gets underway, the long-term vision/preference is to expand this team and potentially support Fortis Construction, Inc. projects for the same client and ultimately have a Southeast Asia-based BIM department.

• To assist the Centre Manager and/or Head of Department to call for tenders and source quotations for all repair and/or replacement works, which includes liaising with consultants and contractors.
• To handle occupiers’ fitting out works.
• Arrange and inspect the work for horticulture, pest control, security, cleaning, refuse, grease trap, car park and other operation maintenance works.
• Attend and follow up on enquiries from shop tenants, residents, and the public.
• Carry out enforcement actions for common property in accordance with Building Maintenance and Strata Management Act (BMSMA).
• Carry out duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Centre Manager and/or Head of Department as and when required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Facilities Management / Building Management or related discipline with relevant experience in shopping and residential complexes (preferably in managing strata-titled properties and certified Water Efficiency Manager)

Roles & Responsibilities

1) To assist the Property Manager in the day-to-day mangement and maintenance of properties and in particular checking on works done by the appointed contractors and supporting staff.

2) To handle any complaints on maintenance matters brought up by the Technicians and to recommend proposals for rectification.
