The new Centre for Investor Protection aims to undertake independent research, public education and related activities to promote the improvement of investor protection in Singapore and beyond. Projects conducted by the centre should have significant implications for policy and practices relating to investor protection. The key types of research and activities to be conducted are:

The Research Manager will report to the centre Director and is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the centre’s projects. As Lead Product Manager, you will work on both strategy and execution of the product vision for our B2B product, ensuring alignment with the overall business goal. This includes identifying market opportunities, developing a deep insight on customer needs, and setting clear objectives for the important product line. We also expect excellent execution and the ability for PMs to coordinate seamlessly with a team of Engineering/QA/Product Design colleagues (and sometimes external partners) to deliver delightful experiences in record time.

You will:

• Be part of our mission to develop innovative and industry-leading product strategies and roadmaps that uniquely serve our customers and differentiate us from the competition.
• Engage with customers and sales team, alongside key stakeholders, to gather and prioritize product requirements and feedback. This involves conducting market research, customer interviews, and using data analytics to inform product decisions
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that communicates the vision, priorities, and progress of the product to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to execute the roadmap and delivery high quality and impactful experience and service to our customers
• Work with marketing and sales teams to define and execute go-to-market strategies. This includes defining product positioning, messaging, and launching new features or products.
• Collaborate across functions in the company such as marketing, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to scale our business processes.
• Monitor and evaluate product performance metrics to ensure the product meets business objectives and customer satisfaction. This involves setting KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), analyzing data, and making data-driven decisions to iterate and improve the product.

You have:

• Significant experience in product management, preferably in a B2B setting, with a proven track record of successful product development and management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams with prior managerial experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging with team members, stakeholders, and customers
• Ability to think strategically and analytically to solve complex problems. This includes the ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive landscape to make informed decisions.
• A good understanding of the technology and financial products such as API design, financial transactions, and the technical challenges involved in the product development process can be beneficial, especially in the FinTech industry
• A strong customer focus, with the ability to empathize with business customers and understand their needs and challenges. Experience in UX/UI principles can be advantageous to ensure the product meets user expectations
• Familiarity with agile and lean product development methodologies, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Ability to effectively manage various external partners and vendors, alongside with commercial discussions to ensure our business needs are met

Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing all operations, including profit, revenue, cash and quality targets.
Development of the brand’s strategy and operations.
Lead business development initiatives and deliver long-term strategic objectives.
Create store action plans to drive KPIs. (i.e. Quality Audits, Sales Targets).
Stock control (Orders, inventory, consumption, etc)
Ensure that quality standards are maintained always.
Lead and cooperate towards the company’s marketing campaigns.
Coach, lead and mentor team members to achieve sales and profit targets.
Recommending effective solutions to increase outlet sales and operations performance.
Liaise with suppliers, coordinate deliveries, manage problems with deliveries, coordinate
with Supply Chain Department, etc.
Work closely with the HR department for all staff-related matters and ensure that
processes are aligned with HR policy and cooperating in interviews and demand staff
calculation.
Conduct annual performance/appraisals and review pay packages for outlets staff.
Work closely with Training department to come up with SOPs, evaluation of training, training
of the staff of the stores, etc
Cooperation with Training Dept, developing Training materials for in-house courses.
Liaise with the finance team, and logistics department in a prompt manner.
Reviewing business performance reports on a monthly or quarterly basis and providing
recommendations to improve on
operational issues and implement corrective measures.
Responsive and available during the operation time of the stores.
Constantly keep in close contact with suppliers to source for competitive raw materials for
the business.
Maintain a good working relationship with franchisees and Joint Venture partners to provide
them with business support.
Work with different departments in HQ to achieve all of the above.

Requirements:

Ability to transmit ideas and vision, verbal and written.
Project management and operations skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a multitask environment.
Written and verbal communication capacity in English (mainly)
Microsoft environment experience (Word, Excel, Power Point). Ability to prepare reports,
especially in Excel.
Valuable experience in quality control systems, ISO or similar is perferred

• Develop a thorough understanding of Co'sproducts and applications through classes, seminars, and on-the-job training.
• Provide technical consultation and service to customers to help solve their applications using Co’s products in a variety of industries, selecting and promoting the proper company products/services for their application.
• Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility in adapting to Co’s expectations and the challenges customers present you.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to customer requests.
• Secure new customers consistently and efficiently.
• Travel to customer locations three days per week and successfully sell products/services into a wide variety of manufacturing & related industries.
• Coordinate account strategy and contribute to territory’s strategic plan.
• Successfully implement new product-launch strategies.
• Deliver growth in market share within assigned sales territory.
• Coordinate off-site seminars and trade shows as needed.
• Manage day-to-day activities with little to no managerial supervision.
• Understand and observe company / department policies and procedures
• Other duties or projects, as assigned
• Preferably Degree in Engineering field. Candidates with a business related degree would also be considered
• Interest and aptitude to master Co's highly technical products.
• Interest in working in manufacturing environments.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to listen and pro-actively react to customer questions and requests.
• Goal-oriented and extremely hard working with a desire to make a measurable contribution to Co’s success.
