The Role

The successful candidate will be developing and implementing strategic plans for assigned categories within the framework of a focused category management business process to achieve the company’s financial goals and objectives and improve market share, customer satisfaction and productivity performance measures for the company. • Achieve category sales, profit and income goals and objectives through developing and implementing strategic business plans for the assigned categories

• Liaison between teams ie: work on estimated landed cost, provide proposal on costing, provide national benchmark details etc.
• Actively manage key partners and suppliers in contract negotiation and build long term partnership

About You

• Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in the retail, food catering, and/or food manufacturing industry

Summary

Responsibility:

• Perform electricity bidding and natural gas nominations in accordance to bidding strategy, management’s directions as well as Singapore Market Rules, Gas Network Code and gas agreement.
• Generate accurate and timely reports on trading performance in the Electricity and Gas market, incorporating analysis including industry study, forecast of electricity demand and generation supply and projection of electricity prices, as well as new regulatory papers and proposals to stay up-to-date with energy market developments.
