WTT SINGAPORE SMASH EVENT DIRECTOR

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Director to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Singapore Smash. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborator, and an innovator who can create an unforgettable experience for athletes, fans, and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Singapore Smash annually and develop strategic event plans to expand and elevate future events.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned and executed smoothly.
• Oversee the selection and management of event venues, ensuring all facilities meet the highest standards for athletes and spectators.

Stakeholder Management:

• Identify and create opportunities to grow the Singapore Smash for players, entourage, fans, partners, and media.
• Build strong and strategic partnerships with external stakeholders to ensure that Singapore Smash maintains its reputation as a leading sports and entertainment property.

Job Summary

The Group’s Fit For Growth (FFG) Programme commenced in Q1 2024, with the aim of simplifying, standardising, and digitising the Bank’s processes, to provide a platform for Business growth and to ‘make it easier to get things done’. The Programme has $1.5bn of investment funding for distribution to generate $1.5bn of annualised saves.

As part of the Programme, a central team, the FFG Programme Office, has been established to help structure, co-ordinate, prioritise, support, and monitor the initiatives that will be selected to deliver the efficiencies and growth opportunities. The team will also help to manage the governance, communications and reporting of the broader Programme.
